The black IW31-EZ In-Ceiling Speaker from SoundTube Entertainment is a 3” in-wall speaker for applications requiring 8Ω impedance or distributed audio solutions. The speaker incorporates a low-profile grille with a total visible footprint of 5 in² and an integrated backcan and driver design for compact installations in wall plates.

The in-wall speaker includes a 6-position tap switch with a voice coil direct position. It also includes mounting hardware and features a fast and secure constant-tension SpeedWing mounting system. All components in the speaker are completely weatherized for indoor and outdoor applications.

Engineered for easy installation and low-profile mounting for smaller venues, this in-ceiling speaker is suitable for retail, restaurants, conference rooms, educational facilities, transportation hubs, correctional facilities, or any setting where full-range intelligibility, low-profile design, and in-wall installation ease are paramount. For additional bass response down to 41 Hz (- 10 dB), the SM1001p powered 10” subwoofer (available separately) may be incorporated.

A: There aren't any USB powering options on the device; only a DC barrel input with a VDC AC Power Adapter that is included.

A: They are all compatible with the D500. The difference is in the included brushes and swabs. This regular strength kit comes with: MXD-100 Green Sensor Cleaning Vswabs, 1.15mL Sensor Clean Liquid Cleaner, 1.15mL VDust Plus Liquid Cleaner and VisibleDust CurVswab Handle Set. Extra Strength comes with the same swabs but substitutes Smear Away Liquid Cleaner (1.15mL) instead of Sensor Clean Liquid Cleaner. A: The Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 EZ Lens is designed to zoom by rotating the zoom ring built onto the lens. Lenses do not have digital zoom. Digital zoom is done in the camera you own. You would focus the lens either by using the autofocus feature on your camera by half-depressing the shutter button on your camera when the camera is set to autofocus mode, or when the camera is set to manual focus, then you would physically rotate the focus ring on the lens to manually adjust focus. While there is automatic focus (also called autofocus, or simply AF for short) and manual focus, I have not heard of digital focus. Manual zoom is done physically on the lens; digital zoom is done in the camera.

[4.0 lb (1.8 kg)] We used this product in the ceiling of our conference room. These speakers are VERY loud for only having a 1-watt amplifier built in. You will NEED to purchase separately, the 24 volt power supply for EACH speaker in use in order to install these and have them function. Installation is super-easy and requires NO tools if mounting in suspended ceiling tiles. I highly recommend these. 5

[40 W] I use these speakers in meeting rooms of various sizes and for several purposes such as lectures, symposia, music playback, and movies. They are installed in drop ceilings, which, of course, has its drawbacks, but the response and delivery of these speakers is outstanding. I wouldn't think of going with another choice except to upgrade to the 47c/t in rooms that can handle more bass. response. 5

[100 dB @ 1 m] Due to the relatively low cost, I was a little concerned that these would not satisfy our requirements for the space but man do these deliver. We have 4 of these running on one Sonos Amp in a large living room paired with a Sonos Sub. The speakers are mounted approx. 11ft off the ground on a sloped ceiling. VERY impressed with how they perform! 5

[20 W] I searched long and hard for speaker mounts to use for a set of Monitor Audio Bronze surround speakers that weighed about 11 pounds. Although I ended up having to cut down the plate so it could attach properly to the speaker, something I would have had to do for several of the mounts I considered, it ended up working well. The mounts are very strong, they are small and do not stand out, they provide limitless angling options, and I could not be happier with the install. It is hard fo find the perfect mount without being willing to perform some fabrication for speakers that weigh what mine weigh. 5

[20 W] The PRJS66's are being used on a 10-speaker 70-volt PA system. They are suspended in an open ceiling that is painted black so they virtually disappear. They sound great, look great and are a terrific value! 5

[20 W] How we use this product: We purchased this product to use in a classroom (25'by 30' with 8 ft ceiling). We have a computer connected to this projector and wanted to pass sound through the projector to this speaker. Things that are great: Easy installation - Sounds Great - Sound dispersion of 120 degrees helps hearing it very well all over classroom - Looks very nice attached to ceiling - Sound can also be controlled by projector remote control and/or computer volume control - Volume control on speaker helps balance - Simple directions - Great price! One thing that we have learned is that we can connect several of these speakers together. I also asked the company about connecting a second speaker to this one - they indicated that it is possible to daisy chain up to 6 of these together. (Ask company support for more details.) To complete the install - you will need Bogen Communications PRS2403 24V DC, 300 mA Power Supply and either speaker wire (18 gauge is recommended) and a 3.5mm connector (solder or screw type) or one can purchase a cable with bare wire on one end and 3.5mm connector on the other end. This is used between the speaker and projector audio output. It is a great speaker and it is working great in our school classroom. I would highly recommend this product. 5
