Tele Vue DeLite 15mm Eyepiece 1.25"engineered this medium focal length Tele Vue DeLite 15mm Eyepiece 1.25"to produce a moderate magnification on most OTAs, and be as sharp and clear as their venerable Delos line, but smaller and more lightweight. The eyepiece features fully multi-coated optics that maximize light transmission and improve color and contrast across its entire wide 62° field of view. An exceptionally-long 20mm eye relief allows users to back off the eyecup for a more comfortable viewing experience with a greatly reduced risk of interfering vibrations caused by accidental contact with the eyepiece lens. The eyepiece is outfitted with their proprietary locking eyeguard which lets you set the eye relief in the perfect position whether you wear glasses or not. This DeLite has a barrel diameter of 1.25" to fit into the most common size focusers and accessories, and is parfocal with all Tele Vue Group 'B' eyepieces, allowing you to change compatible eyepieces without having to refocus - saving time and limiting vibrations.

A: Magnification in telescopes and spotting scopes is calculated by division. So a 20mm eyepiece will have a greater angle of view than a 10mm or 5mm.

A: I bought the lens about a month but have no chance to view through it yet. However I did try fitting it to my Celestron 8SE telescope which has a 1.25 diagonal and I did not have any problem.

A: Included with the Starbeam is a mounting bracket with slotted holes positioned to accommodate a wide variety of accessory holes found on popular models of SCTs, but mounting screws need to be acquired separately. A dovetail plate on the Starbeam simply slides into the bracket for fast installation and removal. This Starbeam SCT model fits the rear cell of any 8" or larger SCT OTA.

A: The Tele Vue FoneMate Universal Digiscoping Adapter will fit your Google Pixel 2 phone but it has not been tested on a range finder.

A: Altazimuth head with handle. Cradle will hold TeleVue scopes up to the TV-85. Not for TV-101, Renaissance, or TV-102. Friction locks in altitude and azimuth allow user to adjust the mount drag for smoothest operation and for balancing the scope. Pre-drilled to accept optional TeleVue Sky Tour computer encoders. 1/4"-20 thread and 3/8" thread holes allow it to mount on any photo tripod legs (not recommended for mounting onto a photo tripod's pan head). The Tele-Pod can also be used with other brands of small refractors. However, the internal width between the vertical sides of the Tele-Pod yoke measures only 5.25", so the maximum width of the mounting rings of another brand of telescope must be smaller than this measurement. In addition, the buyer should keep in mind that the fore-and-aft mounting platform dimension of the yoke is limited and would require a user-supplied adapter plate to install dual mounting rings on the single 1/4"-20 hole available in the Tele-Pod yoke.

[15.0mm] This is my 4th DeLite eye piece. It produces 200X in my scope. I could see the craters on the moon surprisingly sharp and clear. I am truly impressed. I love the adjustable eyecup, and the 20mm eye relief. I think these Delite have to be the sharpest/most contrast/corrected eyepieces irrigardless of AFOV. I have tried E.S, X-Cell, Morpheus, and Meade. DeLites are awesome. 5

[20.0 mm] I use binoviewers exclusively for observing. You'll need top-tier binoviewers to achieve high power magnification, but with an excellent OTA, diagonal and binoviewer these 5mm Delites from Televue give excellent contrast, sharp views and are very comfortable with their great eye relief. The price is reasonable for this level of quality and the movable shades are easy to adjust and very effective in blocking stray light. 5

[62°] Hello, I own 4 Tele Vue Delites. They are spectacular. I have had E.S 52's, 82s, Baader Morpheus series, Meade MWA, Celestron X-cell. These Delites are amazing. I have the 18.2, 11, 7, and 5. Fabulous. Eye comfort is second to none, contrast is superb, correction to the edge! you can not go wrong and I doubt you will find better. Made in Japan as well. 5

[15.0mm] This is an excellent quality eyepiece. On my 150mm maksutov-cassegrain (1800mm focal length) it provides a magnification of about 160X. Images are sharp and clear. 5

[15.0mm] I purchased the 5mm Delite and it was worth the investment. The image quality is exceptional, as is the build quality. It took me a long time to reach the point where I could comfortably afford an eyepiece like this, but it was worth the wait. Now I have an eyepiece that brings out the full potential of my scope. The 20mm eye relief makes using this eyepiece very enjoyable. I have an 8 dob and I share the view with others when I can, but it was always a challenge because other eyepieces were difficult to look through. With this eyepiece, I can easily share my viewing sessions. It also made taking pictures with my cell phone mount much easier, another way it helped me share what I see. I would recommend a high-quality eyepiece like this to anyone with a passion for astronomy. 5

[0.61 lb] Spectacular eyepiece. Glass and materials and manufacturing are made in Japan. Excellent correction to the edges, Superb contrast, very functional eye cup adjustment. Tele vue customer service is also excellent. I have E.S, Mead, Baader Morpheus, and the Televue are my favourite. You can not loose. Look up the reviews, the DeLites are probably the best eyepieces in terms of build, quality, eye relief, function, and generous 62 degree AFOV. 5

[15.0mm] Sometimes you have to pay a little more to get a lot more. This is an extremely high quality eyepiece. I am using it to make solar observations with an 80mm refractor. Sharp image right to the edge of the field. Excellent, and adjustable, eye relief. 5
