Designed for medium-range observations, ultralow-light conditions, and even stargazing, the black Celestron 10x50 Outland X Binoculars - Blackfrom Celestron 10x50 Outland X Binoculars - Blackoffer features well beyond their class. With theses multicoated binoculars and BAK4 Roof Prisms, you will get excellent transmission, resolution, and contrast when viewing landscapes, wildlife, or night skies. The wide 50mm objectives make the most of available light in low-light conditions, like dusk or dawn, to provide the brightest image possible. And whether you focus on a close-up or faraway scenery, the wide 55° apparent angle of view will deliver a complete picture. Beyond optical highlights, these binoculars provide a convenient center focusing, diopter adjustment, a generous interpupillary range, and 10mm eye relief.

With their lightweight and durable polycarbonate housing, you don't have to worry about accidentally exposing the binoculars to moisture or even dropping them into a reservoir, because it is waterproof and nitrogen-purged fogproof. Its slender-body design, with smooth rubber armoring, and a closed-bridge configuration, offers a comfortable and nonslip grip. To help you with focusing and correcting for dioptric differences, these binoculars features oversized knurled knobs that are easily adjustable even when wearing gloves. The twist-up rubber eyecups allow anyone to find a comfortable viewing position. To allow for extended observation, this optic can be mounted on a tripod using an optional adapter. Also included are a strap, lens cloth, soft carry case, and lens caps for objectives and eyepieces.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Would these be good for football games?

A: They would work, but I would recommend a wider angled model. A good option would be the Nikon 7x35 Aculon A211 Binoculars. They will be wider angled, and will be able to get an image of the whole field. Website link: a href= http://bhpho.to/11UPz6r target= _blank http://bhpho.to/11UPz6r/a

Q: 2. ¿How can i attach these binoculars to a tripod? Does it includes the dovetail/adapter?

A: Tripod adapter threads are located underneath a cap in the center of these binoculars just below the focus wheel. Yes, this model also includes a tripod adapter. Thanks

Q: 3. In the manual provided with the binocular a lever has been shown for zooming in and zooming out whereas the same is not there in the actual binocular. Pl. clarify?

A: The manual refers to both the 100x zoom and the 25x. The 100x is very much similar to this one except an extra zoom feature for adjusting to 100x. As far as I know, the 25x only has the knob between both barrels for adjusting the 25x zoom, and the focus wheel on the right eye piece. Those are the only two adjustable items on the 25x for sure.

Q: 4. Are the following items included In The Box : harness, objective caps, rainguard, lens cloth, neck strap, carry case, instruction manual for the Celestron 71400 bincular?

A: In the Box would be the following. Celestron 8x32 TrailSeeker Binoculars (Green) Lens Cloth Carrying Case Neck Strap Harness Strap Ocular Rainguard 2 x Objective Cap Limited Lifetime Warranty

Q: 5. Can I be viewed moon at the night time.

A: Yes when you are using the 15x70 SkyMaster Binoculars, you will be able to see the Moon at the night time, The challenge is to hold them steady hand held, so it is good to connect them to a tripod.

Q: 6. Spec list IP adjustment for these binoculars as 8.7-11.5mm. How does that translate to IP I am familiar with? My IP is 56mm.

A: The correct IPD values are as follows: Interpupillary Distance (max): 74mm (2.91") and Interpupillary Distance (min): 56mm (2.20")

Q: 7. Everyone is saying that these binoculars are really heavy, however its only 1.5 kg. Does it become very uncomfortable for a binocular, or is there add on weight?

A: I dont consider binoculars heavy. I normally have them mounted on tripod. When not the little extra weight helps steady them. Good buy for the money. I have recommended to a couple friends.

Q: 8. Has anyone had the problem with the Celeston 15x70 Skymaster not being collomated? I saw the procedure on youtube and it does not look easy to do. I really don't want to go through this hassle.

A: Yes, I have this issue. I tired adjusting per the video with unsatisfactory results; I still have a second ghost image. I've used these to observe a model airplane stuck in a tree only. These are not for serious viewing.

Q: 9. Where is the serial number ? I can't find it at the binoculars.

A: It is on the side of the eyepiece.

Q: 10. I cannot adjust my Binoculars for clarity?

A: Yes, it has a middle focusing wheel, & of course a diopter.

[10x] This is a great pair of binoculars at an incredible price - Quite an improvement over my old 7X50 Bushnell's. I thought that I was going to miss the toggle focus on the 7X50's, but the 10X50 dial is handy and easy to move and holds its place better than the old glass. Being able to use them as close as 9 feet is fabulous for seeing fine detail. The inter pupil distance stays set. The grip is sure and comfortable. The diopter setting stays in place and the eyepiece adjustments for eyeglasses are wonderful. These 10X50's are no harder to hold still than the 7X50's and with the Nikon ProStaff Suspender Harness Binocular Strap, they don't get in the way when they are not being used and require no effort to carry. But more importantly, as a birder, the harness allows me get the binocs up to my eye fast without looking or groping for them. So I don't have to take my eyes off of what I am looking at and trying to not loose sight of.
The optics are amazing - only one time have I had violet fringing and that was right at sunset. Haven't had the same thing happen at sunset or under any other conditions since. They are used every day.
A roll of arts and craft heavy duty twist tie material will keep you from loosing the lens covers when the twist tie keeps them anchored to the holds for the straps. The same twist tie material will make them easy to attach and detach from the harness.
