A: It should. The mic comes with two adapters xlr female to male and a xlr female to 3.5 mm male.

A: Andrew, I have to apologize as we have not yet tested with the iPad mini 3. We have tested with the vast majority of Apple products with great success. Most devices from apple are utilizing the same trrs pin-out and handle signals the same way.Its possible that we need to review the product with the iPad mini 3 and test further, its also possible that you received a cable that inst working properly- which is a very rare occurrence with our QC processes. Or another possibility is how garage band is handling the signal itself. Please make sure the cable itself is seated fully in the iPad, and please reach out to us to trouble shoot on the phone. Q: 6. In assembling the kit, where does the battery go? It came without instructions.

A: Grip your hands around the top and lower portions of the microphone and twist the bottom portion to the left to unscrew the bottom portion and expose the battery compartment. Install the battery and then screw the bottom back onto the mic. Slide the power button on, and a red light will appear to signify that the mic is powered.

In order to capture higher quality sound than the camera is capable of on its own, you will need to use an external audio recorder, and marry sound to video via editing software.
