The gray Transparency Viewer contains inside two Graphiclite 100 D5000 color viewing lamps, which are rated at 5000K daylight. The balances reflector and diffused top glass enable even illumination. The viewer can sit on a flat surface or can be wall-mounted.

A: The f number is defined to be the focal length divided by the effective diameter of the lens. These devices increase the effective focal length. If you use the 2.0 version, it doubles the effective focal length. So, for example, a f=5.6 lens becomes a f=11.2 lens. That's two f-stops change ... 5.6, 8, 11 (about). You lose two f-stops with the 2.0 version. The 1.4 version gives a loss of one stop. The 1.7 version gives you a loss of 1.5 stops.

A: The Z7 with the the FTZ adapter makes the camera just like any other late model Nikon as far as using lenses is concerned. The issue is more what lens are you using. It will need to be at least 70mm and f/2.8 or f/4 to work.
