Q: 1. Can it be used with an android tablet?

A: We're afraid not. This camera is only compatible with Windows 7, 8, and 10. It will not work with an Android Tablet.

Q: 2. What size would fit Swarovski 8x32 binoculars?

A: I bought the medium Soft Pouch (camo) for my Swarovski 8x32 EL and it fits them adequately but snugly. I would recommend this for protection where you dont want a case to take up a lot of space. I travel a lot and throw these in a day pack or carry-on where I dont want to bring my larger Swarivskis. The mediums are too small for the standard sized bins like the 8.5x42 EL and the 10x42 EL.

Q: 3. I notice The Celestron CB2000CF does not have dual lighting (no upper light, only lower). How good is the illumination for opaque objects? Do you find this a limitation?

A: We use it for fecal parasite screens in my veterinary practice, so the lack of an upper light source is not an issue for us, as the samples are suspended in a brine solution and placed on the slide for microscopic examination.

Q: 4. I notice it does not have dual lighting (no upper light, only lower). How good is the illumination for opaque objects?

A: The model has a Halogen Light, so pretty powerful.

Q: 5. Is the clamp adjustable so it can fit different plates ?

A: The Really Right Stuff B2-40-LR II Lever Release Clamp (50mm) is not adjustable. Only Arca-Type QR plates from Really Right Stuff, Kirk, and Wimberley are guaranteed to fit.

Q: 6. Check your information: The stereomicroscope should not be confused with a binocular compound microscope, which has double eyepieces. The image in such a binocular compound microscope is no different from that obtained with a single monocular eyepiece. So, does a binocular microscope render images in 3D as you claim?

A: The term stereo and binocular microscope have been used interchangeably by different manufactures. Stereo microscope are usually low powered ones as in field or dissecting microscope. where you are looking at a dimensional (3D) object. Binocular microscope are high powered compound microscope where you are looking at a biological on a glass slide with a cover slide over it (non-dimensional.) 3D effect very minimal.

Q: 7. Is there a way to add a camera that is at least 8 MP?

A: Unfortunately we do not have any Camera Attachment in our stock that has at least 8MP.

Q: 8. My binoculars are 4"x4". Will they fit into this pouch?

A: The Soft Pouch Bino Roof Small fits L 5"–6" (12,7cm–15,2cm) x W 4"–5" (10,2cm–12,7cm) so this should fit. Another option is the Bino Wrap Roof Small: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/485745-REG/OP_TECH_USA_6001112_Binocular_Wrap_Small_Black.html

Q: 9. Can this be used with BRESSER Science TRM-301 Microscope?

A: Yes it is compatible with the TRM-301 microscope.

Q: 10. I seemed to have lost my installation CD...how do I get another one or is there a website that I can download the software from?

A: So to get the Download CDROM you can contact Avanguard directly through e-mail at a href= http://bo3dyx@gmail.com. target= _blank bo3dyx@gmail.com./a Or call them at: (718) 332-3450 or (347) 449-0263

[10x Wide Field] I recently purchased this Swarovski Bino Guard Pro for my new Swarovski 8.5x42 EL binoculars and it works great! A perfect compliment for these great binoculars. It fastens easily, fits like a hand in a glove and really dresses up the binoculars. A great accessory and purchase. I highly recommend this Bino Guard Pro!

[110 VAC, 60 Hz] For anyone who has to home school because of the government public health warnings or does so because they prefer home schooling this microscope camera is an essential if instruction includes the use of a microscope. I'd suggest at least the Celestron microscope sold by B&H. With a PC, and a decent textbook one can cover the science included in school curriculum from elementary thru advanced high school biology.

[Coarse, Fine] This bino harness is the best I own. So comfortable I now own 2 of them. Worth the price.

[9.91 lb] Great camera for the price. Easy to use. If you don’t like the provided software, don’t use it. It is not required and there are far better camera programs out there.

[10x Wide Field] All good but many of these are broken on arrival. Best to be aware when opening the package.

[Bottom: LED] Bought this for my veterinary practice. It easily compares to microscopes at twice the price. The optics are excellent and it is solidly built.

[9.91 lb] I have a Meade etx 125 and tried many ways to get pics of what I was seeing. I tried the cellphone adapter, T mount/ring, mounting my Canon 80D to my telescope, even desperately holding a camera to the eyepiece and nothing ever came out consistently good. Last weekend I wasted 5 hours and 84 mosquito bites trying to get pics of Saturn and Jupiter, so I decided to buy this and see if it worked.

I live around class 7 bortle skies, which is pretty bright and light polluted. This night, I was able to see Jupiter with the naked eye but Saturn was a strain and almost completely drowned out. I first found Jupiter in my eyepiece, then switched out with the usb camera on my laptop. Jupiter looked pretty good, but Saturn would not show up. I'm taking it out to darker skies this weekend and will try Saturn then.

INSTRUCTIONS:
The camera comes with several adapters. The one marked 023.2-031.75mm is the one you want for a 1.25 telescope eyepiece. It takes a tiny allen key (not supplied) to tighten it, which was a pain because it had me digging around to find one. It helps if you have a 2x barlow lens to fit the camera, but is not needed.

A lot of people use a focal reducer to help get a wider field of view, since the camera shows a zoomed in area of the sky. Almost like using a 5 or 6 mm eyepiece, I'd guess.
There is a software disk that comes with it, and it works okay and is easy to figure out. It allows you to take photos and video with the camera, so you can edit, stack or whatever you like later. You can also download SharpCap 3.0 for free as an alternate.

Side note: you can use a USB Male to USB Female OTG Adapter and use an android cellphone or tablet to record on.
Overall, It works pretty well and is great for a nightskynoob like me. These pics are from my first time using it last night, and it was very exciting to see on screen as I captured images and video. Give it a try!

[110 VAC, 60 Hz] I am an engraver who has difficulty due to a neck injury using a microscope. These are not only a honest product but affordable alternative, giving me the flexibility that my microscope does not allow. This company's customer service is exceptional, initially when it arrived the light did not work. A quick phone call was greeted with a level of concern that impressed even myself (who had headed a CS dept. for 13 yrs). We discovered that it was the batteries that came with it that were faulty, they offered to replace them but I declined. Purchased new and it works FANTASTIC! Thank-you.
