The Sensei PRO Brass Step-Up Ring 67-72mmpermits the use of 72mm threaded filters on lenses with 67mm filter threads. It features brass construction and is coated with a matte black finish to minimize reflections. Brass offers enhanced durability and resistance to warping over conventional aluminum rings and is also less prone to jamming or binding to additional step-up rings, filters, or lenses. This step-up ring has large side knurlings to provide a more textured grip when mounting or removing it from a lens.

[Brass] I only use brass filter lens mounts as they rarely ever get stuck on my lenses. This step up ring is well made not flimsy but not obtrusive either. The only problem with all step up rings is conflict with the lens hood. But if you're using a solar filter you can probably do without the hood anyway.I recommend this product, you will to. 5

[4 mm] Recently purchased a Nikkor 50 mm 1.4 lens. The filter size is 58 mm. I read a tip that suggested using a step-up ring to allow use of 77 mm filters which is the size of my other glass. This saves on buying multiple size filters (UV, CPL, ND, etc.) The Sensei step up ring works very well with my current 77 mm B&W filters. 5

[Brass] I purchased the 72 mm to 77 mm step up ring to allow me to used a 77mm polarizer on a lens that has 72 mm threads. I was concerned about the threads because of problems I had with a previous step up ring. I purchased the Sensei PRO because it is made of brass instead of aluminum. The step up ring threads into the lens and filter easily. I have had some difficulty removing the filter from the ring but not the lens. I also purchased the Sensei filter wrench which allows easy removal of the filter from the ring 5

[67 mm to 72 mm] I use this to extend the utility of my 77 mm filters. 77 mm is the typical diameter for bundled lenses. The more specialized primary lenses require other sizes. This adapter allows you to exchange your filter use and also reduces the opportunity for vignetting because of the larger size filter. 5

[67 mm to 72 mm] These are very high quality brass Step-Up rings. I purchased these to replace a cheaper set of aluminum step up rings. They are of significantly better quality than the aluminum rings they are replacing. They attach and remove easily with a built in grip feature on their outer circumference which provides leverage to loosen and tighten. I use a set of these with several 82mm filters to fit to various lens filter diameters. Don't skimp on rings, these are much better than cheap aluminum rings and well worth the additional expense. 5
