Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Dos this tally lights controller work with Vmix?

A: Yes, according to Digital Arts the MetaSETZ TLC-4LS works with vMix as well.

Q: 2. I'd like to do a Facebook Livestream from my phone using this for better sound, would my iPhone automatically switch to this input?

A: While yes, Facebook would use the audio connected to the iRig for a live stream, please note that Facebook will only recognize the left input's audio since the app is in mono. For stereo connection to Facebook, you'd want to use a laptop or pc.

Q: 3. What’s the weight?

A: The Midi Baby Kit Stand from Kupo weighs 5lbs.

Q: 4. Is there a AC adapter included in this bundle for the i-Rig Pro Duo ? Also, is it one mic or 2 included ? Picture shows 2 microphones ? And is a mic stand and mic cable included also ? Also, what bundled software is included ? Thanks

A: The IK Multimedia iRig Pro Duo Studio Suite Deluxe does not include a power supply for the i-rig Pro Duo since it is bus powered. You may purchase a universal power supply on our site; B&H# HOACD477. The package includes only 1 microphone (pictured with a front and rear view) - the iRig Mic Studio XLR. This mic includes a desktop mic stand and mic cable. Lastly, the Music Production Bundle includes a variety of software for GarageBand and other recording applications; namely SampleTank 3 SE, Miroslav Philharmonik 2 CE, AmpliTube 4, T-RackS Deluxe for mix and mastering, and mic room.

Q: 5. Ira lighting conection?

A: The IK Multimedia iRig Pro Duo Studio Suite Deluxe uses a lighting connection into Apple iOS devices.

Q: 6. The specs say "Digital Audio I/O: None", but does the device not sent digital audio through the usb or lightning connector?

A: The IK Multimedia iRig Pro Duo I/O 2-Channel Audio/MIDI Interface does send digital audio output to a compatible device when using the Mini-DIN output connector and any of the included cables which are Mini-DIN to Lightning, Mini-DIN to USB Type-C, or the Mini-DIN to USB Type-A .

Q: 7. can it record individual files for each camera feed?

A: When using the Datavideo 12 Input HD-SDI And HDMI Hand Carried Mobile Studio one could record an individual file from each camera feed, only if that camera feed is mixed to be the only output.

Q: 8. Can this handle a low gain sensitive mic like EV RE20..without cloud lifter ?

A: While it does have enough gain for a mic of this nature, some users have reported noise when turning up the gain, so you may want to consider a fethead or cloud lifter anyway, for the headroom.

Q: 9. hi, is there a way to connect a digital piano with 1/4 out to midi i/o? so i can connect 3 instruments at same time: microphone, guitar and piano

A: MIDI and Audio are two different types of signals, hence are not compatible. What you could do is get a multi-channel mixer to plug into the audio inputs. The only downside is everything will be recorded to one stereo file, as opposed to individual tracks for every instrument or source.

Q: 10. What is the maximum length of network cables you can use between the controller and tally lights?

A: No maximum length of network cables is explicitly defined on the Digital Arts metaSETZ TLC-8LS Tally Controller for Livestream Studio.

[5] In the past, I have used a Casio keyboard and a Harmonium as an aid in understanding South Asian classical music. The Casio is not accurate and the Harmonium is bulky. Paired with GarageBand on my MacBook Pro, this keyboard remedies both issues. And the quality appears to be good. 37 keys are just right; 25 would have been more portable but less useful. I am glad I got the bluetooth version. I did have an issue in that the bluetooth required installing Bluetooth Midi Connect from Korg. This was incompatible with OS X Mavericks. I reluctantly risked updating to Sierra. Thankfully it all went well.

[5] This controller works great. I use it for controlling my main stage rig while performing live. Mainly it is there for volumes and muting channels without having to mess with the laptop. I was worried that for the price and the size it would feel cheap, I was presently surprised. While it is obviously not the greatest quality it is fairly well made and is heavy enough not to slide around. So far happy with it and would recommend it.

[5] I'm using this controller in tandem with the NanoKontrol (which has faders), to MIDI map all functions for Ableton Live. It offers plenty of programmable pads and 4 different scenes. The only drawback is its durability on the road (touring) over time...

[1.46 lb] It is a great product. Connected to my Iphone or Ipad using the Bluetooth there is no perceptive delay, the response is very fast. I use a few apps to produce sounds and create music. Some of them: Garage Band, Music Studio, Korg Module Le and others. It is important to first download the app Bluetooth MIDI Connect (BLE-MIDI) to be able to connect the Keyboard using the BlueTooth. I have a few keyboards of different sizes (from nanokey, Microkey 25, 49 to full size). I enjoy this one because is very portable to travel or carry around with no need of extra cables to connect.

[5] The Korg nanoKontrol Studio is one of the USB MIDI keyboards certified for use with a Sound Device MixPre 10ii recorder. It connects to the USB-C port of the MixPre, and is automatically recognized and configured. The faders and start/stop controls are marked and permanently configured, as are the record and mute buttons. The dials control the trim, low cut frequency and pan settings, depending on the selected scene. It's all very straight-forward for real time control, superior in every way to the tiny knobs and endless menus of the MixPre.

[5] With loads of individual controls this controller has lots of scope, with standard Korg mediocre build quality. Having only owned it for a short time I can't speak to the durability but I've put ti through alot in a month as it's still working well.

I was not able to get the Bluetooth functionality working (something to do with 64bit bluetooth, but I have other bluetooth controllers I'm not willing to possibly lose to get this functionality).
