A: The monitor is self-reversing and can display prompting with either the included PC and Mac software or with any presentation software such as PowerPoint or Keynote.

A: The speed of the text will depend on who is operating the teleprompter software. It can be sped up and slowed down.

Q: 4. What is the difference between single and pair?

A: Besides the difference in cost, with two prompters the speaker can look two ways to the audience in a more natural way and without interruption. With only one prompter, the speaker is pretty much restricted to only one eye direction. That is why the President always has two. It looks better that way.

Q: 5. Does it come with a case or can I purchase one?

A: Yes, this kit comes with a hard travel case.

A: While it may be possible, that would not be recommended. There is no hood as you would find on camera teleprompter system to avoid any glare issues. This is designed for a different purpose.

[5 lb] Rush ordered these a couple of week ago for a conference we were having and it arrived in good time. I was so happy with the fact that the were already assembled, I already had too much on my plate without having to try to figure out how to put them together. We used them for 6 different speakers at the conference and never had any complaints. It was easy enough to adjust to each speaker and helped make everything look very professional to our audience. They were light enough that would were able to transport it from room to room without any issue. Great quality, would recommend. 5

[5 lb] We have a small studio and we've tried many prompting software solutions over the past 5 years with no luck. We finally found Magicue. Magicue is the real deal. Simple to use, easy to install and setup. You can be up and running in minutes. Also, their customer service is amazing! So refreshing to see a company stand behind it's products. [5 lb] I've owned these for years and have always appreciated how sturdy they are. There's no wavering or twisting as they rise and fall. Plus, if a client asks to move them quickly during a set-change, I can grab the lower shaft knowing it won't bend. They're not hydraulic so they won't leak oil— they're not pneumatic so they don't need to be recharged, either. They use an electric motor so that in case the power goes out, you can still manually adjust them... which sounds useless until someone cuts the generator at the end of a show and you still need to collapse them into the case. (It happened to me!) I also like the new base knob option which makes for a quicker set up. I'd highly suggest getting the 18 extensions in case your client makes you place the monitors on the ground instead of stage level. The shrouds they come with are adequate, but you will want to fabricate your own taller, hinged shrouds for when outside in full sun. 5

[5 lb] They have made this version easy to assemble. The overall package sets up within a few minutes and is still packed nicely on arrival. The new plate design has some limitations in terms of what hardware you can use, however, but nothing that would be a deal breaker. 5
