The Altman Spectra Cyc 50W LED Blacklight Silverfrom Altman Spectra Cyc 50W LED Blacklight Silveris a 50W cyclorama / wall wash luminaire featuring high-output 365nm UV LEDs. The fixture is enclosed in a silver TGIC polyester housing. Designed for theatrical and architectural applications, the Spectra Cyc UV utilizes an asymmetrical aluminum reflector for even and smooth light distribution, as well a blending lens to reduce visible pixelation.

The on-board power supply allows for direct power input which can be daisy-chained through up to 14 units. The Spectra Cyc UV is compatible with both DMX and RDM protocols, and comes with a library of pre-programmed fixed intensities and various intensity effects. Units can be utilized for both floor and ceiling cyc applications. This LED unit is very low in heat and in power consumption and therefore can be used closer to scenery and fabric drapes.

A: Pyle Pro does not offer this specification but it is optimized for vocal paging use which would fall into a narrow mid-range frequency response.

A: You would be able to get about 60-90 minutes of operations on a full charge.

Q: 8. We've used Hero Black 3+ for quite a while and find that they still do the job for us in most environments. But we've lately been doing a lot of live concerts where the lighting is not always optimum. The 3+'s are great to setup around the stage but the low light capability is not. Is the Black 7 appreciably better in low light situations?

A: While the Hero7 Black will offer a better low light performance than the Hero 3+ Black, we would still not call it a great camera in low light. It will not be a major improvement.

Q: 9. I'm interested in buying the Pyle Pro PMP57LIA 25W Professional Megaphone with a Polsen CAM-2W - Camera-Mountable VHF Wireless System. Will they work together and do I need a special wire or adapter to go from the Output Connector:1/8 (3.5 mm) TRS on the Polsen to the 3.5mm aux-in jack on the Pyle Pro? Thanks

A: The megaphone has an 1/8 Aux input, I'm not sure if it's Stereo since it's just one speaker, probably Mono. A standard 1/8 -1/8 aux cable sounds like it would work fine.

[365 nm UV LEDs] Nice product. A remotely adjustable (although not over a great range) in both intensity and color reasonably powerful light at a great price. 5

[Aluminum] Just a wonderful CYC light. We ordered 5 and unfortunately one of the 5 gave off a hideous high pitched screech when powered on. Contacted customer support and they have sorted everything out as our replacement has just arrived. Overall extremely happy with the product. 5

[TGIC polyester] This Primer work as described. It took little under a gallon to paint a wall (17'7' by 11'7) I used this with Pro Cyc Virtual Green Chroma Key paint. 5

[TGIC polyester] The Altman Halo 6 LED light is an excellent product! I have been dealing with poor light for remote work videocalls for a few years and finally did something about it. It is highly adjustable, both in light color and brightness, and is incredibly easy to setup and use. I do wish that the lightweight plastic felt a bit more heavy duty, but once it's set up you really don't need to touch it much. 5

[ETL and cETL] If you're unhappy with your shadowed face while on a video conference, here's an inexpensive solution. Powered by your own computer through a USB port, this little ring of light illumes your face, helps wash out wrinkles (if you have any) and makes you happily visible to the other conferees. Since it's a ringed low-voltage LED, it doesn't give off much heat, as old-style studio lighting might have done, and avoids beads of perspiration. An added bonus: a little switch lets you control the light's intensity and spectrum. The Altman Halo is an angelic addition to your video gear. 5

[TGIC polyester] OK, as most know, this is not a true blacklight. LED lighting is UV lighting but works like a blacklight. I have tried several UV lights and always a bit disappointed, including the competing DJ Lighting brand one. The first thing I noticed is the build of the light which is metal, heavy (In a good way) and solid. When you turn it on, the light is similar to a flood light, which it is supposed to be. others Ive tried claim flood, but center is brighter than the rest of the light. This ADJ UV Flood is a wide beam and has some reach to it. I actually bought one of these about 2 months ago from another online retailer. Then a bought a second one since the price the price dropped. I saw the sale (price drop) here at B & H and could not resist. Yes, i have a total of 4 of these and couldnt be happier. Only con i have found is that it does not seem to respond well to DMX like it should. It is not a deal breaker with me as using DMX for me on a UV light is more for on/off. For strobing or or any other effect, it does not change alot, like a color light would, so kind of a mute thing for me, though itd be nice if it would work properly. For a UV light, youd be hard pressed to find a better one for @ $200 or less that has the quality and reliability i have found with ADJ lighting though the years. In fact I still have several older bulb, duty cycle ADJ (American DJ back then) and all of them work flawlessly. 5
