A: You could use Needle nose pliers would allow you to remove the screws. The pins unscrew like normal screws.

A: The Sony FA-WRR1 Wireless Radio Receiver is designed to trigger Sony-compatible flash units wirelessly. While there is a Multi-Interface hot shoe on the top of the Sony FA-WRR1 Wireless Radio Receiver, there is a cold shoe with no contacts (but with a 1/4 -20 tripod socket) on the bottom of the unit. While the cold shoe allows the Sony FA-WRR1 Wireless Radio Receiver to sit in the camera's Multi-Interface hot shoe, there are no pins or contacts for communication to the camera. It would simply sit in the hot shoe on the top of the camera for convenience when using it as a camera remote trigger (as well as on a tripod or light stand via the aforementioned 1/4 -20 connector). As such, if you wish to use the Sony FA-WRR1 Wireless Radio Receiver to trigger your camera's shutter release remotely instead of triggering a flash, you must electronically connect the Sony FA-WRR1 Wireless Radio Receiver to your camera via the Sony VMC-MM1 Multi Terminal Cable listed above.
