Q: 1. This will seem like a silly question, but are the foam pads meant to be cut to size or can my H6 be safely nestled between the foam pads?

A: There is no need to trim the foam. Compatible with: AC-3, F1-SP, F4, F8, F8n, F-Control, H5, H6, Q8, R8, TAC-2R, U-24, U-44, and UAC-2 recorders

Q: 2. Can this bag hold a C300 II with the handle attached?

A: As the FS5 body and top handle fits with room to spare I would guess that the c300 would fit as well. Have used the c300 a fair amount I feel pretty confident with estimation. That said check the dimension in the specs and cross reference they with the c300 specs. Side note: This bag is extremely modular with a ton of removable Velcro dividers and attachments you can customize the bag to work with any mid-size cine camera.

[Zipper] I bought the foam insert version and custom fit an entire Sony FS700 package inside no problem. Case seems unbreakable. I haven't flown with it yet, so that'll be a big if but my expectations are high.

[14.15 lb] there are so many hard cases to choose from, but this case turned out to be the perfect size camera case for my underwater housing and strobes, I am really happy with the case and the service I received. The case came on the day promised, I would recommend these cases to anyone

[14.15 lb] Love Porta Brace cases. Have been using them for 30 years. Wanted to color code my HDSLR gear from my video gear so I am glad they offer these in black! Great compartments, but a tad narrow for my 5D with a half-cage. Deep, though, so I can pile lenses, monitor and Zoom in, no problem.

[14.15 lb] I have 3 of these, owned them for the past 4yrs. They're built extremely tough, have dropped one from the trunk of my car onto the concrete & everything was fine inside it, not a scratch to the outside either. I highly recommend their products to everyone. This is the only brand I'll purchase after owning them for over 4yrs as they have taken care of all my products throughout the years.

[Zipper] Case is used for transporting DLP projector. Strong construction is a big plus for protecting equipment inside. Padding would be better if it were layered more with thinner sheets of foam. Overall, great case.

[Zipper] I bought this bag to store and transport all my medium format gear. It actually can handle all that and more - much more. It is a huge, well-constructed bag, make no mistake. You won't want to overstuff this bag or you'll need a forklift to move it. I've got two Hasselblad bodies, three lenses with hoods, a couple of prisms, four backs, filters, bag of film, Black Rapid strap with Manfrotto Quick Release, cleaning kit and the bag is not even half full. It has enough room left over for to swallow my gripped Nikon D7000 with 18-55 f/2.8 mounted plus a speedlight, and two Fuji digital cams (XPro1 and X100) and the sling bag I keep them in. If I leave the sling bag out, I can also fit my 70-200 VRII in this beast. But then the bag weighs a whopping 33 lbs. The bag comes with two lens pouches and two padded storage bags, plus two padded blankets - nice!. I would have liked the pouches better without the zippers. I didn't use half of the dividers the bag came with. It would have been nice, though, to have some full height dividers as the two hard and one flexible divider provided were only about 1/3 the height of the bag. I wound up taking some dividers out of other bags to get things the way I wanted. I plan to use the bag to store and transport (by car) my most often used equipment. For an actual shoot, though, the bag is too bulky to carry in foot traffic and will be too heavy if reasonably loaded. Sure, you can lighten the load (always a good idea), but then the bag is just too bulky to walk around with - you're better off buying a smaller bag to start with. You could easily work out of this bag (if you had a guard to stay with it or you were in a safe location). For me, it'll be a transport bag that I'll break down with just the equipment I need (into another go-bag).

[14.15 lb] Using this bag to store lenses and camera accessories in the lab. Took the shoulder strap off and also removed most of the pads from the inside (there were a lot of them) to make it more portable from the shelf to the bench. It's got a large velcro closure on the top flap, I could do without that, but it's okay.

[Zipper] Very nicely constructed. It is very comfortable to carry even when full of equipment. I use it to carry two cameras: Nikon D700 with 80-200mm lens and Nikon D200 with 24-70mm lens, Three Nikon Speedlghts, Batteries for Speedlights and Cameras, Flash accessaries and cleaning supplies. If I could improve it would be with more velcro pouches at either end. Side straps and carry straps are very well padded. It basically carries everything I need for a photo shoot.
