The MultiCart RocknRoller R16RT Ground Glider is a versatile cart that holds up to 600 lb and converts into eight different configurations. The cart has two wide R-Trac 6 x 3" front swivel casters with brakes, and two rear 8 x 3" wheels that can roll heavy loads over soft or hard terrain. A: The deck is 13.5 wide. Adding in the wheels it is 20 wide.

A: It is 42" from the ground to the top of the handle.

Q: 6. Can you attach a longer pop up handle to one side of this one? The handle is so low on this one it makes it hard to push or pull without hunching over.

A: Unfortunately, there is no accessory for this cart to extend the handle.

Q: 7. Can anyone recommend the best securing straps and methods for tying down equipment for this cart?

A: I use 2 ratchet straps when I load this thing to the gills with lighting and grip equipment. It's mostly to keep the cases/bags from falling off the cart. The cart itself is rock solid and can take whatever straps you throw on it.

A: Yes the front wheels on the MultiCart RocknRoller R18RT Ground Glider have locks.

A: These casters will hold up very well while in the elements.

Q: 10. whats the differences between R16 and R12?

A: The main differences would be the width, closed height, physical weight and load capacity. The R16RT would have a wider base, shorter when closed, weighs 37 lbs and holds up to 600 lbs over the R12RT.

[40.8 lb] I am a full time DJ and needed a better cart to haul my equipment around for loading in and out. This is the best cart ever! The wheels are so smooth! I can roll it over practically any surface with ease no matter how much equipment I stack on it. I am finally able to get all my gear in with just a single trip. This is really one of the best purchases I've ever made for my DJ business. 5

[Foam] I move a lot of gear and furniture around. As I get older, I relaize it's important to work smarter, not harder. So having a versatile cart that can hold up to 600 lbs in many different shapes is part of that plan. I use the Multicart Flex Straps to secure large loads. When I am in the studio or making a rolling studio, the GripnGaff Jumbo BAG is a genius addition for moving around C-Stands, boom arms and light stands without them sliding all over and falling off the cart. 5

[Foam] I already had the R12 cart and wanted something a little beefier and that handled gravel and grass better. This cart does just that. The wheels are wider and the tubing is significantly beefier, emphasis on the beefier part. The cart itself is actually lower than the R12 which is great for my purposes, loading it in and out of an SUV. Upon arrival I had to made some modifications to the cart, like greasing the wheels, drilling some of the pin holes so that the rear wheels would fit on, glue one of the slider plates and fix one of the rear wheel bearings. This thing was made in Malaysia. All of that aside, this thing will last a while, I do not expect the cart itself to break, but the wheel bearings will wear with time, as with anything else. I also recommend replacing the grip tape with something more rubbery that actually grips bins better. I've also made some mods to my cart, to allow stands and things to be mounted to it. Like this review so that I will make a video review. :) I am overall happy with this purchase. 5

[Foam] I received the cart in good condition, the box was not damaged. Assembly was a breeze. You can't go wrong with this cart because of it sturdy steel frame and no flat tires. I love how it expands because It's great for moving my dj gear inside events in on trip. I brought this cart to replace and older model RnR, which was good too but, the tires kept going flat. I sold that one to a friend. 5
