This 52mm Quick Clip Lens Hood for Sensei Camerasis designed to mount quickly and easily onto your camera lens to prevent lens flare in your images. This two-part design allows you to leave the threaded ring on your lens and easily clip on the hood when needed, or easily reverse the hood when you find it unnecessary. This lens hood is for use with internal focusing lenses and non-rotating filters, and accepts center-pinch lens caps. To avoid any vignetting, the Quick Clip is best used with lenses above 20mm for 35mm format and with lenses above 15mm for APS-C format. In addition to keeping stray light out, it can help protect your lens and minimize accidental damage from everyday use.

[52 mm] Tom start with the plastic material is heavy duty and it's a nice molded shape. The lens reverses nicely and snaps neatly into position firmly. This quality piece of kit was the right price and a good addition to my gear. 5

[0.105 lb] Works just as advertised. Just screw the holding mechanism into the lens and snap on the hood. I actually purchased three for different lenses. I highly recommend this nifty little hood. The only thing is if you want to keep the hood attached, as if in use, you need to use a center pinch snap front cover. I really don't view that as an issue. 5

[52 mm] …. I bought this for the EF 40/2.8 pancake lens. Cheaper than Canons hood, and better, as Canons hood barely blocks any stray light. This is a much taller hood, and even then, it does not cut off or darken anything in the corners. It snaps on, snaps off, reverses for storage if you like. The Canon cap will work with it in the extended position. 5

[52 mm] It is easy to clip on or reverse. I use it on my FZ-80 and it clips the corners at 20mm, but at 21mm the corners are fine. A small price to pay for an easy on/off hood. And as always, B&H was easy to do business with. 5
