[4.8 lb] This thing is pricey, but to extend stylus life and performance, it's a must have.

[4.8 lb] This is a very good value for the money. Well made and very rugged.
A minor issue is that it does not come with any assembly instructions or camera balancing instructions. I recommend looking at some on-line videos on balancing stabilizers. For a first time user of stabilizers the balancing process is not intuitive. Once properly balanced for a specific camera it works very well.

[4.8 lb] I'm a cinematographer and regularly use glidecam hd-2000 with dslr's such as 5D's and 1Dx mark II, I also often use a Glidecam Hd-4000 with a C300 mark II, and even own a giant came-tv vest and stabilizer rig with wires for batteries and monitors going through it. I hate that big thing because there's no real freedom of motion for rising shots etc and it takes forever but i'm sure for walking shots on a movie set or something it's just right. Anyway I'm a strong believer in no vest because you get so much more shots you can capture. This stabilizer is amazing in every way. It is super portable which is important so you have it. Faster to setup. Stable when set down (much more than glidecam since those can tip to the side easier than this one). This looks better, and is carbon so more efficient with weight just for balancing, smaller shaft and bearing means less friction introduced through the bearing. It's extremely smooth. Has smooth position knobs without the extra unnecessary locking screws on the glidecam. This has exactly what you need with nothing extra. it's simple to start on and excellent enough for a pro. It can handle my 5D mark III with a 16-35mm 2.8 L which is a heavy setup. It even just scraped by at the edge of balancing same camera with a 50mm 1.2L. I plan on getting some extra weights to make sure I'm set with various cameras such as if I have to put a lav receiver on the hotshoe for single mic work solo shoot with mic running into the camera. I wish they made an identical but just slightly bigger version to compete with glidecam hd2000 size but most small stabilizers handle fine if you add more weight to them. Don't hesitate to buy this. I would recommend this as the most important item to shoot with over a slider, over a tripod (shots need motion people!)

[4.8 lb] I was hesitant about spending so much money on a set of tripod legs, but as soon as I took them out of the box I was impressed. Quality all around. Light weight, holds my Canon 5D MIV and EOS 100-400mm lens like it is a feather.
As I get older, I need the assistance of a tripod to get the sharpest images. I also want to get back to the old days of  throwing my camera gear in the back of the car and explore and photograph the countryside, near and far. With this tripod, I can do just that.

I am a true fan of Really Right Stuff. I am also glad that B&H now provides their gear.

[4.8 lb] I originally ordered the 24L but sent it back. The 24L is perfect for astrophotography given its height. But my general use for the tripod is landscape and nighttime cityscapes which require a lot of hiking and walking and often a plane ride to get to the destination. The 24L was just too big and cumbersome to manage on a plane and walking around with a backpack. The standard TVC 24 is a little short for me, maybe 3-4 inches (I'm 6'3"). But I will take it more places and therefore use it more often. Build, stability craftsmanship are phenomenal. So far, I used it with a D850 and a 16-35 f4, 70-200 E, and a 200-500 f 5.6. RRS is an exceptional company. Expensive, but very happy with my decision.

[4.8 lb] I only wish it had a bright colored handle and housing so it was easier to find and handle in dim light situations.

[4.8 lb] Best stylus cleaning brush ever !! A must for an accurate and noise-free tracking of all records. The carbon fiber size, length, density, and circular placement of the bristles on the brush head make it extremely effective at stylus cleaning without damaging the stylus/cantilever assembly.

[4.8 lb] This glide cam performs as well or better than my old Glidecam HD 2000 and better than a $300 competitor product I am now returning. I am using this with my Canon 5d Mk3 and it balances perfectly. Proper setup is key, make sure you balance with the least weight you can get on the bottom and have a 2 second drop.

[4.8 lb] For my $20000 Leica M10P and Noctilux f/0.95 50mm lens, I will trust nothing less than the RRS tripod and head.. why? Because I'm not going to cut corners on anything, especially if it's supporting one of the worlds most expensive consumer cameras and lens.
