[1.16 lb] iPad Mini 2 retina w otter box case. Holds its great. I don't use the black rubber back panel holder pad thingy. If my iPad was naked without a case it would probably work well with the back panel holder thing. But I am very happy w this product for my iPad with otter box. I use it on my back patio glass table to help from being hunger over. Use it on my boat. And use it in an jet airplane. Works great. Keep your suction cup clean and on a porous surface. 5

[1.16 lb] I was surprised to only find a catalog pamphlet the only documentation with all the parts in a plastic bag, no box other than the shipping box (bulk buy packaging?). I was wondering how all the parts go together, a few minutes of studying the bits and it became obvious. All together now, very sturdy and holds the control head for my radio very securely. This is my first ever RAM Mount, they're popularity and reputation is well deserved, I'd buy another if the need arose. 5

[1.16 lb] RAM is the best in the industry for mounting your electronic devices. i will not buy any other brand. I have not had a single issue with the mounts. The suction cups hold and are secure. If RAM does not make it...you don't need it. 5

[1.16 lb] Installed this in my HMMWV to hold my phone for navigation. I have an iPhone with a otter box on it and it was was still strong enough to change the phone through the otter box and running navigation at the same time. Did 200 miles of trails on extremely bumpy roads and phone stayed locked in the whole time and did even move. Excellent product! 5
