[1/8 Grid] Day after day I blast these babies with my lowel tota lights up to 800 watts. No sign of any wear yet. Although I did get one which needed to be returned due to a bad seam where the rod inserts. ....Incidentally, the photoflex speed ring for lowel tota needs modification to insert the power cord. Fine if you have a workshop - useless otherwise.But this strip soft box is just great for a hair light, headshot or whatever!

[1/8 Grid] We've owned one Video Pro Plus 1 Softbox since 2000, and it's in just as good shape today as the day we opened the box. We use it regularly, and have used it countless times since we bought our first one. In order to light more evenly, we decided a second one would be more cost effective than switching to completely LED or flourescent fixtures for the time being. It's really a great product that stows away well. Obviously, it stands up well to regular use.

[1/8 Grid] I use this light back in conjunction with some other Chimeras for Cinematography as well as Photography so I have speed rings for my Canon 580ex flash, studio flash and also for Arri cine lighting. Chimeras give a wonderful soft light that wraps beautifully around your subject. They come with an internal diffuser that makes it possible to use this with something as small as a standard camera flash or as big as a 1K Arri so they are very adaptable. The strip banks make it possible to have controlled amounts of soft light on your subject which means you can isolate them from your background really nicely. Really good for interview settings, portraits or fashion photography and super portable. I have chimeras that are 6 - 8 years old used almost every day and still perfectly good so this product will last you for a good 10 years if you look after it. Happy shooting!

[1/8 Grid] We use Chimera's for our K5600 Joker HMI lights. When we purchase any new light we buy a Chimera... it's like bread and butter... they just go together. It does exactly what you'd expect by softening the harsh lights. We also use them on our Moles-Richardson & Zylights. The are a good reliable product. I recommend this product.

[1/8 Grid] It's been a great way to light interviews for years. Makes your subjects looks great. I usually use it with either a 650W or 1K light. You'll need a speed ring for every light you plan to put it on. This is my second one of these. The one I bought 4 years ago is still in great shape. But sometimes I've got two shoots going on simultaneously, so I needed a second one.

[1/8 Grid] Bought this to replace a small Chimera that had yellowed after a couple decades of use with hot lights. It's riding on an Aputure 600 X pro now. Beautiful light through the Chimera, great spill control.

[1/8 Grid] This my third purchase of the Video Pro softbox small. I use it on an Arri 650. It has been perfect for me for video interviews as well as still photography.
