The 3' Mogami Gold 8-Channel DB25 Analog Snake Cable 3ftoffers renowned quality and reliable connectivity between analog multichannel devices in touring setups, project studios, and commercial facilities. It is based on Mogami's own #2932 Neglex multipair snake cable, which is well respected for its neutral tone, remarkable transmission of audio detail, noise-free background, and super-flexible jacket.

Each length of audio channel wire is individually shielded with numbered jackets for simplified organization of cable clusters. Inner conductors and outer jackets are color-coded for quick identification. Sturdy metal shells and thumbscrews ensure long-lasting durability.

A: HD-SDI Digital HD was a step up in image quality over Component Analog HD. So in a critical analysis, yes, you will see a slight difference. But for casual use, there is no loss in quality to the degree that it would interfere with your use or enjoyment of your CRT display. After all, it was what we had for years and were quite happy with it.

Q: 3. Will this down convert from 4k HDMI to HD SDI?

A: From the BMD website: HD up and down conversion But the manual is useless and doesn't elaborate further.

Q: 4. I got my Mini Converter Analog to SDI. Question: How do you get S-VHS video into the unit with the BNC cables? I have yet to find an answer on line nor is there any instructions for me to get my head around this. A shot tried to sell me an adapter but in one look it was simply an S-VHS female to an old fashioned RCA composite. What am I missing here? Thanks! Tom from Thailand

A: You need a S-Video to BNC adapter. Since B&H has a stupid policy you'll have to google that otherwise I'd attach a link.

[DB25] Hello, I am pleased with my Mogami Gold RCA Cables 3' long. I used them between my Denon AVR Receiver and my new Emotiva 7 channel amp. They work great and my home theater speakers sound better than before, also my Denon doesn't have to work so hard so it runs cooler. Great Cables, ted 5

[1.4 lb] Connected an Oppo 105 Blu-ray player to a couple of EMOTIVA amps to complete my 7.1 surround system. Crossed my fingers and switched on the components and no hum or buzz from the speakers or amps just dead silence. Have played a couple movies and audio cd's and the sound is perfect. Will by Mogami products from B&H again in the future. 5

[DB25] I am always wanting to eliminate any link in my audio chain that will compromise any loss of signal.Saying that, If you were to see my studio, you would understand.Its still a home studio though, and to spend a large amount of money on a cable snake thats 5' long, I had to take time and think about it.After reading the spec on the cable and trying to look closely at the picture supplied, I decided, why not.I can see where the money has gone.No effort has been spared to construct this cable, its very robust, completely shielded and apart from dragging it behind a car for 40 miles, its definitely a once in a lifetime purchase.all cable ends both braided and then shrunk wrap coatings are as good as any top shelf cable I have, and if the specs are anything to go by, I'm yet to see any other cable of this type on the market that will match it.As with any signal path you still have to be mindful of what cables are running next to what, so I still don't run audio less than 150mm parallel to power and always cross at 90 degrees. My recording equipment gets moved around alot, so to have something that can handled regularly and not show signs of ware and tear is a big one. Although I have only had it for a short time, I reckon this cable will last as long as any I have.Well done to the crew at Mogami, well made.If you can afford it, you will only buy it once, thats worth considering. 5
