The Electro-Voice ND76S Cardioid Vocal Mic with Mute Switchfrom Electro-Voice ND76S Cardioid Vocal Mic with Mute Switchproduces clear and balanced vocal tone and is effective in small-to-medium sized venues. Designed to offer superior sound quality, acoustic control, and robustness, the microphone features a large diaphragm capsule, which takes the technology of the original N/Dym capsule to better levels of sonic performance.

Humbucking coil guards protect against line hum and allow you to use it with confidence near speaker cabinets and EMF-generating equipment racks. The Memraflex grille resists denting and can withstand rough treatment on the stage or in the studio environment.

In addition, vocalists, sound engineers, and musicians can benefit from easy setup due to the ND76S's innovative features that solve typical instrument and mic placement challenges in small-to-medium stage productions.

Q: 10. can I record my live band practice and live karaoke? sound recorded quality?

A: I only use this to record sessions during my technical writing meetings and after all, this is sold as a voice recorder mainly for meetings, lectures, and the like. However, ensure you set the noise level and the mic sensitivity before recording songs or your band. Listen to the playback using headphones instead of the built-in speaker. Also, install the sound organizer on your PC (or download SoundOrganizer_V2001.exe)and research online what you can do with this on your PC. Try a quick recording, be conscience of elements in the room that may cause noise during recording, and play back the results. It may take some time to figure out the best distance to set the recorder from your music source for good results.

[Cardioid] I've been using the predecessor EV ND367 mics for many years - and given them as presents to fellow musicians - I just bought this pair of EV ND76 mics as a gift for my musical partner - we all swear by them and we have never found a fault - really fine sound, noise-free, and articulate (fast enough to mic cymbals) - well-built and durable
