Designed to offer superior sound quality, acoustic control, and robustness, the microphone features a large diaphragm capsule, which takes the technology of the original N/Dym capsule to better levels of sonic performance.

Humbucking coil guards protect against line hum and allow you to use it with confidence near speaker cabinets and EMF-generating equipment racks. The Memraflex grille resists denting and can withstand rough treatment on the stage or in the studio environment.

A: Yes, the Sennheiser ME 4 Cardioid Lavalier Microphone can be used with the Saramonic UwMic9 2-Person Camera-Mount Wireless Omni Lavalier Mic System.

Q: 3. What are the dimensions of the handheld mic?

Q: 5. Will the TX9 perform good if I connect the receiver RX9 via the SR-UM10-CC1 to a Zoom H8?

A: Yes, I have connected it to a Zoom H4n recorder with no problems.

Q: 6. Will the receiver transmit static when the mic is off?

A: The receiver in the Sennheiser XSW 1-825-A UHF Vocal Set with e825 Dynamic Microphone System should not output static when it is not paired with the microphone transmitter. However, as it operates on open channels, it could be subject to RF in the area when unpaired, which could potentially manifest itself as audio static.

Q: 7. Can I use this with a laptop headphones jack?

A: Yes, the Voice Technologies VT610TC125 Earphone with Coiled Tube could be used with a 3.5mm headphone jack output on a device such as a laptop. A: Yes, The receiver output may be connected to a microphone input connector of any device, including computers (better still would be to connect this to an audio interface, USB out of the audio interface, out to computer) or, to a camera microphone input.

Q: 9. Would I need another receiver to add an additional lav to the handheld mic version?

A: Yes. You have a few options for adding a lavalier microphone to the Sony UWP-D22 Camera-Mount Wireless Cardioid Handheld Microphone System - UC14: 470 to 542 MHz. The first option is to use an additional complete wireless lavalier system such as the Sony UWP-D21 Camera-Mount Wireless Omni Lavalier Microphone System - UC14: 470 to 542 MHz (B&H # SOUWPD2114). If you are using a separate wireless mic system, you can use the same frequency band or a different band since the two systems will be independent. Another option is to replace your existing single-channel receiver with the Sony URX-P41D Dual-Channel Camera-Mount Wireless Receiver - UC14: 470 to 542 MHz (B&H # SOURXP41D14) which will allow you to use two transmitters simultaneously with the same receiver, and purchase the Sony UTX-B40 Wireless Bodypack Transmitter with Omni Lavalier Mic - UC14: 470 to 542 MHz (B&H # SOUTXB4014) to use together with your existing Sony UTX-M40 Wireless Handheld Cardioid Microphone Transmitter from the UWP-D22 System. If you do want to use two transmitters simultaneously with the URX-P41D Dual-Channel Receiver, make sure that all components operate on the same frequency band.

Q: 10. I want to use this microphone with a wireless pack to record in stereo. Will it plug in to a wireless pack or does it need to plug in directly to the recording device?

A: This can work with some wireless systems. Please contact us at 800-606-6969, via live chat, or at audio@bhphoto.com so we can further discuss what you are trying to record, and help you find the best solution.

[Black] I've been using the predecessor EV ND367 mics for many years - and given them as presents to fellow musicians - I just bought this pair of EV ND76 mics as a gift for my musical partner - we all swear by them and we have never found a fault - really fine sound, noise-free, and articulate (fast enough to mic cymbals) - well-built and durable
