[Mini 4-Pin] I was looking for a case for my new Panasonic DVX200 and found this Porta Brace case. After reading the two reviews here on B&H, I was discouraged. I really wanted a Porta Brace case. I have always been satisfied with their products.

The reviews said many things like the Porta Brace website does not have a custom case for the DVX 200. But it does. It listed this model, their case for the DVX 200.

I also researched reviews on Adorama which were more encouraging.

I decided to take my changes and ordered the case. I took it out for the first time on a shoot this past weekend. WOW, i eliminated many other cases just because of the room this case has. In addition to the DVX 200, I was able to carry two Sennheiser wireless lav kits, a handheld mic w/ flag and transmitter, a Zylight, the camera' s boom mic, headphones, and two small Porta Brace bags (one came with this purchase) full of small accessories, and a v-mount backplate, etc. One outside pouch held two IndiPro Tools v mount batteries. It really has a lot of room in it.

The case came with a padded Porta Brace bag, a white card, one padded divided, a bag that was perfect for the panasonic camera boom mic, two small dividers that fit around the camera and a strap to hold the camera in place. All the dividers, bags (except the Porta Brace branded bag) and strap use velcro so they cam be placed anywhere in the bag allowing some customization.

The case is well constructed. I would recommend this case for the Panasonic DVX200 (or similar size camera) based on my personal experience.

[DC Barrel] This is the rig I've been waiting for years for. Very solid piece with several features that I've come to love, not the least of which are the locking rosetta style handles, adjustable and removable upper camera mount with a plate that slides into a Manfrotto tripod, cable clips, and more. Very flexible piece. Love it.

[DC Barrel] Very well built bag--plenty of room for a C100 Mk 2 with all the accessories--interior tie-down strap fits nicely thru the C100's handle and keeps everything nice and snug. Dividers are easily reconfigured. Lens pillow does double duty as a general purpose divider/absorber.

[0.055 lb] A very convenient bag for the Canon XF 605, prepared for shooting - with an installed microphone and a mobile light. Spacious, lightweight, allows access to accessories.

[4 x 2.25 x 0.6"] This rig is a breeze to set up and is really well built. The stabilization it adds to my FX6 with cine lens, mics, and monitor is no joke. The only thing missing straight out of the box is an interface to mount on tripod but it can be easily resolved.

[DC Barrel] This bag handles a larger video camera well with very adaptable interior dividers. The two outside pockets work well - with one being expandable for larger items so you can pack the battery charger with you. Very nice quality too.

[Mini 4-Pin] I am using this to hold a Sony Fs5, a small HD monitor, a few lenses, and batteries/etc... The case is lightweight, yet it is fairly sturdy due to an internal metal bracing... perfect for my needs. I like the dual zipper opening on the top and the bracing keeps it from sagging. You can customize the interior due to velcro dividers. I haven't had this for very long, but I think it will hold up well in the years to come. I wouldn't recommend it for airline abuse, but other that that, it should hold up very well.

[Mini 4-Pin] Fits my DVX200 perfectly. A little snug. The camera takes up the whole room, but I was able to fit my accessories as well in the other compartments of the bag. Would buy another.

[DC Barrel] It's a great bag with lot of storage. it can also accommodate a Macbook 17 Laptop. It fits the C200 with Side handle Lens, Battery and screen attached.
