Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will it fit my canon 5D Mark Body

A: It would be too small.

Q: 2. How deep is the case? I have a Tamron 150-600 that is just over 12 inches long and need a case for it. If this won't fit, do you have a suggestion?

A: The Spider Camera Holster Spider Pro Large Lens Pouch is ideal for lenses smaller than the Tamron 150-600, such as a 70-200mm f/2.8. For the Tamron 150-600mm, the Lowepro Lens Case 13 x 32cm will be an optimal lens case: http://bhpho.to/1kLzgv1

Q: 3. is this pouch good for the most recent canon 100-400 lens ?Thanks

A: Guy, Thank you.. Both versions of the 100-400 Canon lens should work with our Large Lens Pouch. The lens collar should be outside and not zipped in (by design, as said above)..To better balance your camera/lens, we suggest you purchase an extra SpiderPro PIN alone - then tightly thread the pin onto the tripod collar. Please make sure this pin is tight at all times. Spider is working on a lens collar-specific (Arca-Swiss style) plate that would solve the long lens question altogether, but for now I would use the SpiderPro pin when possible. Q: 4. Does the (70-200 2.8 is II) TRIPOD RING need to be removed to fit into this case?

A: Hi there Ronicka!.. The SpiderPro large lens pouch was designed to solve the issue of inverting the lens shade - it is designed then to accommodate the lens WITH the lens shade on. In this setup, the lens collar will situate right above the rim of the pouch - not inside the pouch. The end of the lens will show above the rim, making pulling the lens out easier, but the lens is very secure and will not come out unless you open the zipper. Only If you choose to NOT use the lens shade, then you will have to remove the collar.Let me know if this helps in answering your question,If not, please contact us directly for video/imagesBest, S

Q: 5. Can a Sigma 150 - 600mm lens case fit inside this bag?

A: No, the Sigma Soft Lens Case for 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG DN OS Sports Lens is too large to fit into the Kinesis E976 XXX-Large Lens Pouch. The lens not in the case will fit the Kinesis case.

Q: 6. Does the Sony FE 70-200mm f/2.8 GM OSS II fit in the pouch with the hood on? Thanks.

A: Yes, the Sony FE 70-200mm f/2.8 GM OSS II will fit in the Spider Camera Holster SpiderPro Large Lens Pouch with the hood on.

Q: 7. Will the Nikon 800 pf with foot attached fit?

A: Yes, a Nikon NIKKOR Z 800mm f/6.3 VR S Lens can fit in the Kinesis E976 XXX-Large Lens Pouch.

Q: 8. Does Sony fe 600mm f4 fit in this bag w the lens hood? ... without the lens hood?

A: It's a little too short. I would recommend a lens case like this for a more comfortable fit. https://bhpho.to/3bPwfNJ

Q: 9. Does this fit the Canon 70-200mm 2.8 IS II with the lens hood attached in reverse? How are the filters protected?

A: I sold this 70-200 lens (a less hefty non f/2.8 version) way back. I doubt that the heavy f/2.8 would fit friction-free in this when the huge hood (for the f2.8 II) is also attached backward. Hope this help

Q: 10. Is this a soft-sided case or rigid enough to be stackable on a cart? Back problems are forcing me to divide my larger case with four heads into two cases with two heads.

A: It's a soft sided case, but you can stack them if what's inside isn't too heavy.

[Empty] I love these caps for hiking, especially on the seashore, protecting my big lenses from harsh elements. Easy to put on and take off. Hang it on the camera strap with the included short leash when not in use. Super!

[Drawstring] A nice item I got  for half price when buying my rain cover through B&H. It is quite large but it works with both my Nikon 200-400 and 200-500. A bit big but cinch it tight and it works fine. I cannot see letting this dangle when shooting in the rain. It would get soaked and you certainly dont want it back on your big glass if it is wet. I see this being used and then stashed in a  pocket or camera case until needed again to keep your lens dry.

[Drawstring] Simple protection for your lens. It doesn't replace the lens cover that came with the lens but is good for out in the field when you are waiting for the shot and it's snowing or raining.
