[1] I use these sandbags primarily to weigh down my tripod so it doesn't lift up off the riser. I use slingshot ammo or ball bearings to fill the bags. Works well. I haven't had a camera fall out of a window, yet... 5

[0.395 lb] I filled (self-provided) zip-lock bags with shot, and then sealed 'em in the Impact Saddle bags. No fear of shot escaping (and the zip-locks should prevent rust in cast the bag gets wet). You can load these with more than 5 lbs of shot (mine are about 6.5 lb each... I have no fear of the zippers failing. Excellent product 5

[Nylon] These empty sandbags are handy to have in the field because you can carry them empty and fill them with rocks or whatever's available (I recommend putting items in a Ziploc first). The bags have two zippered pockets and each pocket has two zippers for added durability. I like the bright color-- easy to see, so the stand doesn't get tripped over, and so the bags aren't forgotten. 5

[Saddle Bag] Heavy Duty product, double-zippers keep fill contained, well made. I filled them with 6-7 lbs of steel shot (in plastic)... I have no concerns about over-filling (above the 5-lb stated capacity) 5

[1] I fill heavy duty plastic freezer bags with 12 pounds sand and slide them into these. These are a must for weighting light stands outdoors, if there is any breeze at all. And, I use them as a safety precaution on light stands indoors. I also use them for weighting the leading edge of seamless background paper, and marking extension cords that are snaking across the studio floor. I have found them handy when trying to counterbalance a large umbrella, or a strobe on a boom arm. The bright orange color is a positive feature. People see them. 5

[0.395 lb] What is there to say heavy duty bright bags. I used some soft shot scuba weights in these around the studio. Very heavy duty double zippers are up to the task of holding in what ever weighted material you'll use. 5

[0.395 lb] Well made, double zipper and seems durable. Like someone else suggested, I placed all purpose sand inside a ziplock bag, then placed it inside another ziplock bag. Sure it's a bit much, but won't make a mess. 5
