[84 dB] This is my third audio device. I have a harman kardon speaker, bose q25 headphones and finally these Kanto YU2 speakers. I've never heard anything so clear in my life, the base is so good for its size. I was going to get the Kanto SUB6 to go with it but I don't think I'm going to need it anytime soon. It is worth every penny you won't regret these speakers. JUST DO IT. SO GOOD.

[2-Way] I've been looking for a good pair of desktop monitors for a while now. My primary use is video editing with Premiere Pro. I also use them for listening to the audio from an SDR (Software Defined Radio) and general purpose use ie: streaming video. These fit my needs perfectly. The are the perfect size for my limited desk space. Best of all the sound quality is awesome! They totally blow away the built in speakers in my laptop. The detail is amazing compared to what I was used to. I have no need for a sub with my setup.

[2-Way] Why, you, too, can - and should - have YU2 speakers. Cannot rate them highly enough.

[8.85 lb] These speakers are a solid upgrade from regular computer speakers and they are small enough to fit almost anywhere. The matte white colour looks good and the integrated USB DAQ is nice to have.

[8.85 lb] I use these on my computer desk to listen to music while I work. I typically listen to acoustic guitar music at very low volume but will occasionally listen to my "Texas Blues" Pandora station at higher volume. These perform well. They have a clear, crisp sound. Perhaps lacking bass a little.�
A week or so after I received these, I bought a Kanto sub8. This really rounds-out the sound.�
But, I was pleased with the sound without the sub. I just saw that the sub was on sale, so I went for it.
These make a great computer sound system. I would recommend them.

[Bass-Reflex] These speakers are just the right size. The are heavy and solid built. Of course, sounds and look amazing!

[2-Way] I'm no audiophile, I don't know anything about the science of speakers. But I do know that I've had these speakers on my desk, playing music all day every day since the day they arrived at my house. And they sound pretty fantastic at all volumes I use. The built-in DAC is great, and they are straightfoward to use.


Physically, the bamboo looks beautiful and matches my bamboo desk surface.


I would purchase these again.

[Rubber Feet] These Kanto YU2 speakers are really a great pair of desktop speakers. They may look small but do not be fooled, they sound really amazing. The bamboo finish on these YU2 have become my desk setup's statement piece - it has added a really nice accent touch to my desk.

Overall, really recommend the Kanto YU2.

[4 Ohms] I spotted these speakers to complete my desktop computer sound system, and I am not disappointed!

I have a white desk, white keyboard, white curved monitor, white Fractal Design computer case, white pod chair...you get the idea. It's all very sleek and clean looking. But I wanted speakers that were high-quality and sounded good, with an appearance to fit in with my high-end computer system & home office.

The Kanto YU2 speakers are prefect! I have them connected to a 50w 6 1/2 Yamaha ported sub under my desk, and it's actually a little overpowering. (I would like to add the sealed Kanto Sub6 in the future, I think it would be a better match.)

But these speakers are not concert hall loudspeakers, they are limited in a perfectly appropriate way for a desktop, facing you a short distance away. That said, they also fill my room with sound, and I listen to them in my nearby kitchen & living room as well. Quality is very high, they have a very sturdy, well-done construction. They actually manage to produce respectable bass, but are quite complete with eh sub I described. I even love the included Kanto 1/4" headphone cable, I use it with my iPhone on occasion. Otherwise, these speakers are connected to my computer via USB, which required no set-up.

[< 0.1%] Beautiful fit and finish in gloss black. Near field sound is well focused, balanced, precise. Impressive stereo imaging. A real, little, fully executed loudspeaker. Don't think you will get a more pleasant computer desktop 2.0 listening experience at this price point. This is a small speaker that gets plenty loud for office use and will rock out a bit within reason. Sound is balanced for size so bass response is commensurate with physical limits. Go bigger or add a SW if you need more booms. All the wires and connectors you need are included. Binding posts are solid, secure above grade quality as is the whole package.
