VS-SW-100 is 26-port 10/100/1000 Power over Ethernet switch, which consists of 24 PSE/PoE, ports with an additional 2 SFP uplink port. The VS-SW-100 has been designed specifically for use with IP cameras, encoders and decoders. It is compliant with PoE IEEE 802.3af/802.3at. Each of the 24 PSE/PoE ports can concurrently supply. This avoids the use of multiple power supplies and makes system installation a snap. Supporting 24 PTZ IP cameras from one power outlet makes this an efficient and environmentally friendly solution.

A: It should eject just the selected Drive but if you are using this on a Mac you might want to reconsider. I had to quit using mine because it would randomly loose connections with various connected discs I sent it back for repair they sent me another same issue I kept getting disk ejected improperly messages on my Mac very frustrating

Q: 10. Can I use this for multiple Video Cameras that runs on USB 3.0 like web cam and PTZ etc.?

A: I've had problems with my external hard drives randomly force ejecting with this USB hub. I think it might be due to the power supply, but in my personal experience, it's not the most stable connection.

[1.7 in] Already having existing Unifi equipment makes this switch a perfect fit for managing everything network-wise. The cooling fan occasionally turns on with the switch mounted right on top of another switch. After adding a patch panel between the two it now rarely makes the cooling fan turn on. 5

[Rack-mountable] We currently use these switches in ALL of our installs for the IT closet. They are very dependable and I personally do the purchasing for our company and in the years that I have been working here I think I have only had (1) defective to return.. [PoE+] I have long enjoyed Ubiquiti products but this was my first managed switch. I actually don't utilize this product to its fullest extent yet but so far it has worked flawlessly. The setup and management are very easy through the UniFi web portal (with a UniFi controller) or app on my phone. 5
