A: It should work great with the BM. I use mine with a d-810, Sony EX, and a tiny cannon camera as well. It's very versatile.

A: The plate is removable, you can attach your own plate - any brand any size- Keep in mind the least weight, the longer you would handle your camera.

Q: 3. Which quick release plate should I order with this beauty please and thanks?

A: I personally got the Manfrotto 577 quick release plate because it allows you even MORE freedom to move the camera forward and backward without having to move the entire base plate. This helps with changing from like a small pancake lens to like a big zoom. You can just push the camera farther back and farther forward depending on what you need. (And it's a lot easier than unscrewing all four of the bottom screws and moving the head forward.)

Q: 4. Can I attach a monitor to the bottom? If so, how? Sorry I am new to this

A: You cannot attach a monitor to the bottom of this stabilizer. That is not how this unit is designed to operate.

[1/4"-20 Female] it's very good but I wish it was lighter but I guess all Stabilizers are the same so this one is the best option and it is made in USA so typically it's better that Chinese Stabilizers. the setup was much easier than my other Stabilizers which is from china. I'm happy I could buy it when it was on deal page at a good price. Thanks to B&H 5

[8.2 lb] The headline pretty much says it all. I use it for that disconnected, floaty shot that usually eliminates any footprint that might come with a handheld. Read the manual, look up the tutorial, and practice with it. It'll serve as a fair tool. 5

[8.2 lb] This seems like a great stabilizer so far. I've only used it a few times but it works as expected creating smooth walking or running shots that is a great improvement over the shoulder rig I was using. Because it's a very stripped down stabilizer that lacks the fine tuning features of the other Glidecam products, it is pretty time consuming to stabilize the first time. I would definitely recommend using a light stand (or something similar) to rest the rig on while stabilizing. I added a quick release plate with bubble levels which also greatly helps. It takes a good bit of practice to use well, but that's all stabilizers. For the price, an incredible stabilizer. Would definitely recommend to anyone. 5

[Aluminum] Great price for a great product! Perfect for heavier DSLRs. Takes a little getting used to but I'm already getting some fantastic professional looking shots. Also take the time to learn how to balance it properly. It'll take a couple extra minutes during each set up but it's 100% worth it. 5
