A: The distance at which the hooks should be placed would depend on the distance of the studs behind the wall as much as the width of the paper.

A: Yes, it should be able to, just as long as you have secure wood backing on your wall and long screws (i.e. 1.5-2 ). The only concern would be the weight of the full roll. Perhaps just double check with the manufactuerer on the maximum weight that the hooks can take?

Q: 4. Doesn't this press on side buttons? The spacing of the clamping arms looks like they'll hit camera and on/off buttons on iPhones

A: Yes, as indicated under the Overview tab, the Impact Wall Mounting Kit for Holding Three Seamless Backdrops can support three (3) rolls of 9 feet x 12 yards (107 ) of seamless background paper. The Specifications tab for the Varidrive Set indicates it supports backgrounds up to a maximum of 22 lbs. For the record, a standard 107 x 12yds roll of seamless paper weighs approximately 17.5 lbs.

[Plastic, steel] If your going to mount 100 pd speakers high on a wall, the ramifications of the mount failing could be quite serious. Don't mess around. These wall mounts assembled easily and the attachment to the wall is made stronger with 4 mounting holes in the bracket. The mounting pivot has a clever design, in that after positioning the speaker on the mount, a turn of a screw causes it to expand so the speaker becomes part of the bracket and cannot come off. Heavy steel construction. I mounted some Yamaha S115v's and I'm confident they won't come down unless I want them too. 5

[0.39 lb] Weve only had it up for a few days. Using it to hold up a ukulele. Its working well. White - so looks good with white walls. Rubberish so doesnt scrape ukulele. Very pleased with purchase. It doesnt come with the wall screws. (No big deal) 5

[0.39 lb] What I really like about these is they can accommodate an uneven headstock like those on the Fender Stratocaster and Jaguar. Others make those hang crooked. The white ones also look great on a white wall. It makes it look like the guitar is suspended on its own. 5
