[0.21 lb] The tool set lets you open parts without damaging or leaving scratches on the parts. It's better to have some protection on the glass surface before using them to open or close a lens.

[0.21 lb] You really need something like this if you are going to go digging after tiny pieces of precision glass deep inside a lens. Very tight grip, can actually unscrew elements. Allows you to handle lens elements without getting your greasy fingerprints all over them. Sometimes it can be a bit difficult to get the thing to let loose of the glass if you squeezed all the air out of it when you attached it.

[0.21 lb] I had to clearn some old fingerprints from the internal surfaces of a 1942 Schneider Xenon lens and these were the only tools that would disassemble it.

... but note, if you are outside US as I am (EU), shipping doubles the costs . But it's still more conveniant than on amazon and arrives much faster.
The only little complain/comment is that customs and duties, as in automatic check-out, are calculated a bit higher than the effective cost I paid done with pay at receiving (14,13 USD vs. 11,18 USD).
For professionals with registrated VAT-Nr. the second mode gives also the chance to have a regular invoice from shipping company to be deduced.
