Q: 1. Is there any way the button in the back could be accidentally pushed while wearing it as backpack or sling?

A: The release button on the back of the BEVISGEAR Top Shelf Digital SLR Camera Backpack (Black) could be accidentally pressed, but it's unlikely to open the pack, because of the design of the button.

[0.1 lb] You really need something like this if you are going to go digging after tiny pieces of precision glass deep inside a lens. Very tight grip, can actually unscrew elements. Allows you to handle lens elements without getting your greasy fingerprints all over them. Sometimes it can be a bit difficult to get the thing to let loose of the glass if you squeezed all the air out of it when you attached it.

[0.1 lb] It's well designed and made, usefully portable and quick to set up and break down. The bug netting is a big help in the marshes I favor. It's been far more effective and comfortable than throwing some camo netting over myself as I'd done previously. You can enjoy a beverage and a snack inside without spooking the creatures while you're waiting for them to get close and preen for their glamor shots. I'm 6'2 and can comfortably sit on a camp stool with the 200-600mm on tripod for extended periods. It keeps the sun and light rain off, too. The floor zips up for rough or wet terrain. For my purposes, I prefer a quartet of large, light plastic stakes over the thin ones provided.

I recommend you watch the instructional video on breaking the tent down. Practice this 3 or 4 times before you take it into the field. It can
easily be done in less than a minute, but there is ONE way to do this,
and it may be difficult to figure out without practice.

Works for me!
