This 9 x 12' Photek Black Screen Background 9x12from Photek Black Screen Background 9x12is a portable, wrinkle-free velour background that features a 4" sealed pocket at the top that can hang from almost any diameter crossbar support system. This eliminates the need for hanging clips, while 1" metal grommets along the right and left sides help you keep the background tight. At the end of your shoot, a travel bag keeps your background clean when it's not in use.

Q: 1. Is the Photek 60" Double Diffuser compatible with other brands 60" umbrellas? Is it compatible with Photogenic 60" umbrella ?

A: The Photek Double Diffuser for Softlighter (60") does not work with third party umbrellas. It is only made for the Photeck Softlighter (60").

Q: 2. Does it have tinkles when open?

A: Yes, there are wrinkles when opening. I carry a handheld steamer and steam before using.

Q: 3. Can this be used with this bracket? Do I need any additional attachments?Smith-Victor BPR Accessory Brackets for 3 Crossbars

A: Yes I would definitely say yes. The stands are pretty strong and tip would be long enough to go through both the bar that the backdrop hangs on as well as the accessory bracket.

Q: 4. Are the legs on the tripods round? If so, what is their diameter?

A: The bottom of the stands are round. And they seem to be around 22mm. Note, the stands in that kit are not really made to work with wheels/casters.

Q: 5. Can I put 4 LED light bulbs (25W or under) onto this instead of the Fluorescent ones?

A: As long as the ballast on the bottom of the LED lights you purchase fit without bumping into each other, yes, you may use LED bulbs in place of fluorescent bulbs in the Photek Brella Box Octagon Kit. (Some LED bulbs are wider than others, so the bulbs fitting may be a concern).

Q: 6. Is this the standard or Pro version?

A: The Impact Rapid Background Screen V2 (White, 6.7 x 4.8') BH #IMRBSW57V2 is not the pro version. BH #IMRBSPW57 is the pro version of the Rapid Portable.

Q: 7. Can someone tell me the length of each of the crossbar pieces please? :)

A: Three of the bars are 3' 4 and one of the bars is 3' 1 1/2 .

Q: 8. A review said that it is only 40" long, but specs indicate 51". What is it? What size poles can it hold?

A: The bag is for the Photek Background Support System Including Stands, 12' 4-Section Crossbar, Bag BH #PHBGSS12 • MFR #S-4010-4. The manufacture does not list the actual size of the bag but that kit when folded is 39 inches. So, I would not use it with any stand or cross bar longer than 39 inches when collapsed.

Q: 9. Will this product fit on a Slik 300DX tripod?

A: Yes, the Photek TRI-X-2500 will fit on a Slik 300DX tripod. This product will work on any tripod with a 1/4 -20 or 3/8 -16 mounting stud.

Q: 10. Can this be used drop down style?

A: No, the Impact Rapid Background Screen (Black, 80 x 58") is only pull up.

[1] Needed a throw away green screen for a series of interviews in a dirty environment. �This was perfect, great price, well made, keyed perfectly.� It's not the same quality of a �Color Composites backdrop and it might not hold up for years but for the money it's a great deal for normal everyday green screen work. 5

[1x Bag] it has been hard for me to find a green screen that is the right shade of green most the other ones i have gotten in the past were a dark green. also, I like that this one can be stretched out so that there are no wrinkles in it no need to have to iron this at all I am very happy with this backdrop 5

[1x Bag] I have been using photek backgrounds and stands for over 10 years, and they do not disappoint. the newer backgrounds (i have black and now white) i use for magazine cover shoots where the artist will need to be cut out. Both the white and the black are perfect for that depending on what type of lighting youre going for, one certainly works better than the other, but I use both quite frequently. the best part is its light weight, and easy to fly with (as i had to fly with this one). They are very sturdy as part of the background was on rough concrete the entire shoot (4 days) and not a tear or scratch. very well made and ill be getting a second in the very near future. 5

[1] I bought this background to replace a cheeper cloth background. I really like the way the fabric stretches to get rid of wrinkles. My lighting was only okay and I was able to pull a really nice key from it. If you want to have someone standing on the green screen for a full body shot I would highly recommend getting the longer version. 12ft doesn't really get your subject far away enough from the background. 5

[1] Since they became popular during COVID all sorts of cheap variations on screens from tiny size to reflective green have been shilled on the market. Getting something this big to cover a complete wall in one consistent hue is invaluable to creating movie and television BGs in our studio. 5
