[16 x 14.4 x 3"] HEAVY but well made. Has punch-outs on the front and back which are very hard to see in photos. The front punch out is small, about the size of a pinky finger, the two rear punch outs are at least twice as large. Slides nicely and latches securely. I think it comes with rack screws, can't remember.

[16 x 14.4 x 3"] I got this for a 6U shallow rack for a sound system. It fits perfectly. I didn't realize it came with an optional lock and key that you can install in a punch-out. The drawer latches without the lock so I don't use it.

Also, it came with grommets and punch-outs in the back for routing cables for charging devices in the drawer.

[0.7 lb] I received my travel case and was immediately impressed by the solid construction, well thought-out design and customizable nature of the case. From thick, durable material, roller wheels and dual-position lockable roller handle, four latches (One on each short side and two on the long side), two padlock holes, and rubber gasket for ensuring the contents are safe from the weather.


I took my case on a camping/hiking trip in which I was going to be filming waterfalls. The case sat outside in the weather (just outside my tent) for 4 days straight, collecting dew on the outside, but all of it's contents was safe, dry and secure from the weather on the inside. I was putting a lot of trust in the case to protect several thousand dollars worth of camera equipment and everything was clean and dry the entire time.


I especially appreciated the rugged design and ease of customization. The soft foam that are pre-scribed cubes, made it super easy to make multiple, very detailed 3-dimentional shapes. There are 3 separate layers of foam, which is nice and allows you to build a shape of varying depths for objects of complex shape.


The case is a little heavy and you'll want to take advantage of the roller wheels when you can, but it also contains handles on three sides that are spring loaded and will snap back to be flush and out of the way when being stored. The handle grips themselves are extremely comfortable and grippy and feel very secure. One other thing of note is this case is stackable and can lock into each other if you have multiples. I have three and they are very secure stacked. It's a very well built smart design and you can tell this is a very mature product.


Overall, this case is amazing and I highly recommend it. Several people on my trip commented on how impressed they were and expressed interest in picking one up themselves. Don't think twice about it... it's absolutely worth the money.

[16 x 14.4 x 3"] I like the design of the handle; and locking piece works well. Lock and key are an added bonus. 3ru is a good size for Clearcom packs and headsets.

[0.7 lb] I bought this drawer to put in a 4U portable Gator Case. The intent was to put microphones and a headphone preamp in the foam insert so that when I was carrying the case or setting it on edge that they would be protected and not shift around. The drawer is really solidly built and that is great. But that also means it's HEAVY. I've now practically doubled the weight of the case and 2U of gear, cables and such that I have to lug around. But I guess it's worth it. The foam comes in two pieces, each half the height of the drawer and snugly filling the width and depth. The foam is scored or diced so that you can remove cube sized sections to make room for whatever you want to put into the drawer. It's not difficult at all to pull out the sections to make any reasonably rectangular shape that you want. However, don't try to put two openings too close together! One row of these cubes isn't strong enough to hold a shape. Leave at least 2 or 3 consecutive rows/columns of this foam together, especially if you will be putting this in a portable case.
