A: The Gator GM-4WR Wireless Mobile Pack should be compatible with the included rack screws that come with the QLX-D receivers.

Q: 2. What does the bottom of the grip look like?

A: Plain flat bottom with 1/4 -20 threaded socket near middle(I have a tripod mount plate attached on mine). Visible from the bottom, but on the end opposite from the gtip is an indentation with a crossbar for attaching retention strap.

Q: 3. How to prevent it from getting loose? I've been using the camera with BlackRapid strap so worrying the camera will fall off without attention.

A: I have never had a problem with it. Perhaps you have a bad one.

Q: 4. Will this grip also work on the a7riv?

A: No, you will need the VG-C4EM.

Q: 5. Does this support a7rv?

A: No, the Sony VG-C5 Vertical Grip does not work on the Sony a7R V Mirrorless Camera. For the Sony a7R V you will want to get the Sony VG-C4EM Vertical Grip instead (BH # - SOVGC4EM).

Q: 6. Does this work with the A7R IVa?

A: No. This will only fit the A7RIII/A7RIIIA, A7III, and A9 cameras.

A: The grip replaces (fills) the space of the battery in the camera - you can now have one or two batteries in the grip. As they weigh almost nothing, carrying two batteries in the grip is the best strategy - they'll automatically switch over when the first one is exhausted. You get real-time percentage charge available display in the viewfinder.

[Yes] This was easy to load equipment into and very easy to haul around. It is my second rack. My first wasan 8 bay unit and is fantastic. No more trucking spearate pieces of equipment around and setting them up separately. Just roll in, remove covers, plug in to power, and you are ready to go. 5

[Yes] Gator Racks are good looking, and designed trim and lean, without too much unnecessary weight added. They are very economical, especially if you order through B&H. They hold all of my professional audio equipment with no problem. This is my third Gator Rack and I highly recommend them. 5

[Yes] I haven't conducted drop or hazard test, but I know there are some online at youtube for gator cases. When looking at this case, I feel like I could throw it out of a plane 10,000 feet in the air, and it would be still be functional after it hit the ground. Although that's crazy, it certainly would handle falling down stairs or out of loading trucks with ease. The material its made out of is just plain tough and rugged, kinda reminds me a a truck bed lining. This a 12 unit case so its a little large, and when filled with gear gets heavy, but the handles are sturdy enough to hold up. Theres rack rails both on the front and back, so technically you could rack gear in the back, such as a power conditioner to free up one or two units in the front then just flip the power pitches on those for easy on/off. It has a locking mechanism with two keys but it seems pretty cheap and flimsy. I wouldn't rely on that to protect your gear from theft, but i guess it does ensure the case would stay on if it was sliding around unsecured in the back of a touring truck. These are also stackable with other gators of the same length, ( the shallow versions are not compatible. ) Overall, nice rack case. Don't hesitate to buy. 5
