Blending the traditional look and feel of a silver halide darkroom paper with a true 100% cotton fibre base, Epson Legacy Platine Paper 17x22 25 Sheetswill help artists and photographers create vivid images with a wide color gamut and deep blacks. Available here as a 25-pack of 17 x 22" sheets, the smooth satin paper will provide a durable surface to work with, featuring a basis weight of 314 gsm and a thickness of 17 mil. Also, it forgoes the use of optical brightening agents to ensure longevity and as a side effect, provides a more natural color with a brightness of 85% and a whiteness of 82%. Additionally, it is acid & lignin free and pH buffered.

A: To be honest I have only use a small amount of the sheets but have use hundreds of feet of the rolls.Im not sure if the thickness is the same but they are close. The quality of the prints are exactly the same. I use the same ICC profile for both and ive seen no difference.

[82%] Epson Legacy Platine is among my favorites. It is as if I were printing back in my we darkroom days. I do a lot of B&W and this paper has amazing tonal range, deep blacks, and sparkling highlights. 5

[85%] This paper has a pleasant, unobtrusive luster surface, a wide color gamut, and excellent blacks. It has a nice heft; it feels quite substantial in the hand. No OBAs and none are needed to give properly-exposed images plenty of pop. 5

[Matte] I used to use the Ilford Gold Fibre Silk, which seemed a favorite of many (which caused much distress when it was discontinued). I've printed the same photo on both papers to compare and find that the Legacy Platine one looks a little better. 5

[Matte] I wanted to print longer than 22 inches on my Epson SC-P900 printer so roll paper was my only option. I chose Legacy Platine because of its finish and thickness. I had purchased the Legacy Sample pack and printed the same print on the different Legacy papers so I could see the difference between each type. I do a lot of landscape photography so a broad color spectrum and strong blacks is important to me and I felt that Platine was a good choice. It printed fine and I have some great prints. 5

[25x Sheet Paper] An exceptional paper for matte photos. Heavy weight with a classic feel. I have had no issues and gotten some great prints. 5

[85%] This really isn't paper, but cotton rag. Very archival. Print on it with pigment prints and your prints will last a very long time. 5

[Matte] This paper just like the old darkroom gelatin silver paper I used many years ago. Now I can print my old negatives without going into the darkroom and mixing chemicals. Thank you EPSON!! 5
