Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. does this paper compatible with Epson R3000 printer?

A: Not sure, but works well with the Pro-3800

Q: 2. Is this paper considered "archival"?

A: The Epson Exhibition Fiber Paper (17 x 22", 25 Sheets) is not listed as being acid-free archival grade paper.

Q: 3. I thought this paper could be used with the Epson Surecolor P800?

A: This paper can be used with a Surecolor P800.

Q: 4. I assume this can be run through a Canon printer, but does anyone know how well this works? Specifically, any experience printing this paper on a Pixma PRO-100? Thanks.

A: I have a Pro-100. The prints are beautiful (I set the Luster paper in the settings).

Q: 5. Can Epson roll Exhibition Fiber Paper be used on a 7600 printer?

A: I have an Epson 7800 printer, so I can't answer based on experience, but the 7600 looks much the same for roll paper. Have a look at the manual for the 7600. (Google epson 7600 printer manual. I would give you the link, but B&H will not permit links in these answers.) In the manual, at page 42, you will see the instructions for loading roll paper (which are very smiler to my 7800). Finally, Epsons have a reputation for being able to print on almost anything (I once heard of a Los Angelino who printed on tortillas), so I would not much worry about being able to print on ANY Epson 24 roll paper.

Q: 6. HOW IS THIS 'SUPER 'B'' PAPER DIFFERENT THEN THE REGULAR EPSON EXHIBITION FIBER PAPER YOU SELL #S045037?

A: I just checked the B&H website. S045037 is the manufacturer's number for the Super B Epson Exhibition Fiber paper.

Q: 7. icc profile for p900?

A: The ICC printing profile for Epson Legacy Etching Paper (13 x 19", 25 Sheets) (B&H# EPLETCH1319) will be installed when you install all of the Epson software for the P900.

Q: 8. I used Epson Exhibition Fiber Paper (13 x 19 , 25 Sheets) and it was an amazing paper. Now I need to print my photographs larger with the same paper and quality, and I would like to know What is the differences between that paper and this one? Or if they are the same.

A: To be honest I have only use a small amount of the sheets but have use hundreds of feet of the rolls.Im not sure if the thickness is the same but they are close. The quality of the prints are exactly the same. I use the same ICC profile for both and ive seen no difference.

Q: 9. Where can I find IIC profiles for this paper and a Epson 3880?

A: Try the Pixel Genius website. I just downloaded the free profile. Since I am not allowed to put the link here, search on Pixel Genius Epson Exhibition Fiber.

Q: 10. Does this paper contain optical brighteners? And if so, do we have any information on archival quality? Would there be a difference in longevity of b&w vs. color prints?

A: Exhibition Fiber is a 325-gsm paper with an exceptional white base and is capable of deep, rich blacks. While it has a fiber paper base and is acid-and lignin-free, it does contain optical brighteners. According to Wilhelm Research, framed under UV glass using pigment inks, they say about 150 years. Album/dark storage is around 200 years. This is for both black and white, and color using pigment inks.

[Cotton Rag] Best matte paper I have used. Nearly as brilliant as luster paper. Great blacks, saturation and contrast.

[25x Sheet Paper] This is main go-to for exhibition prints. It might be too think for low-end printers.

[98%] This paper is fantastic. It provides great tones and color. Black and whites look so good on it. The smooth matte surface is great for displaying without reflecting lights and it shows great detail.

[Single] So far I am very happy with this paper. I am printing on an Epson 3880 from both Lightroom and PS, using the profile supplied by Epson, with color management handled by the software. There is a pleasing brightness to the images with good shadow detail. And for the project I am now working on the finish is perfect. A little smoother that Hot Press, and maybe a little crisper. It is so subjective.

[Cotton Rag] My favorite paper for archival printing, especially when subtle tonal gradations need to be displayed.

[98%] I did a systematic and methodical review of all the papers in the Epson sample packs with a wide variety of images. Across all types of my images, Legacy Fibre was my absolute favorite. Beautiful blacks, subtle color ranges, gorgeous weight and feel. It's a little fiddly to load into the front loader on my Epson P800 but well worth the effort. Of course, my test didn't include a price point and would have loved it if my favorite - this one - was the cheapest, alas no, but all in balance I want the loveliest paper for the loveliest of images.

[98%] As an artist who demands the best from my images, this product gives me the ability to put it on paper. Thanks Epson for continuing your great lines of papers.

[98%] By far the best. High Dmax, gorgeous colors and great sharpness for a matte paper. Glossy papers may be technically superior in all of those areas, but to me, it really doesn't matter. The surface reflections subtract from the advantages. With Legacy Fibre, the surface just disappears. It comes down to a matter of taste, and I prefer the matte look. Legacy Fiber is expensive, but in this case, you do get what you pay for.
