[0.4 lb] Solidly built, customizable interior, smooth latches, great handle and silky smooth wheels. I also bought the 2015-7 and love that they are stackable. Minus 1/10 star for the padded dividers being slightly caved in, which will work itself out with use. Love it!

[0.4 lb] I own several Pelican cases but have grown tired of pinching my fingers on them while the top lining flopped off whenever I open a case.... This case is better designed, the handle is secure, and the 10 deep design lets you store larger lenses. I highly recommend this case!

[0.4 lb] After a 10 day video shoot in Uganda using a inexpensive camera case, I knew I need a high quality case to better protect my Sony video camera. I found exactly what I wanted in the iSeries case. It is sturdy, a perfect fit for my FDR-AX1, and has excellent wheels for easy rolling through airports and even over dirt and grass fields. I highly recommend the case to anyone who needs to protect their Sony video camera during travel and field shoots.

[0.4 lb] Great so far, but more time is needed to test the durability of the glued-on Velcro strips on the inside of the lid (I'm assuming the Velcro strips on the backside of the organizer are sewn on). The latches seem more 21st century, with their smooth opening/closing operation and unlocking mechanism on the underside. (Pelican latches seem more like 1990's.) Thinktank lid organizer, telescoping handle and wheels are a big bonus. Thinktank padded dividers are of better quality (more durable fuzzy fabric it seems) than my Pelican dividers. And I couldn't get my Pelican 1605 Air case to fit my gear correctly/securely (think 'massive earthquake' and/or 'fire').

[0.4 lb] Had I realized that the QSC Touchmix comes with a very nice custom case, I don't think I would have spent the extra few dollars to buy the kit that came bundled with this case. There's no question that if you plan to be using your gear on the road, getting it bumped around and rained on while loading and unloading in the elements, this is going to offer better protection than the OEM included case. Also, the OEM case has QSC emblazoned upon it, which tends to advertise that there's something expensive inside, versus this nondescript case.

[0.4 lb] What I like about this case over my old soft sided case:
- It's deep, so lenses and flashes can be stored upright.
- The lid organizer pockets (except one) have the zipper at the top, not to the side, when the case is open.
- The case is very stable and does not tip over. My old case frequently tipped over because I keep the spare batteries in the lid, which made that side heavy, and would tip over if on uneven ground.

[0.4 lb] SKB case is at least as good as Pelican.

[0.4 lb] I've used many different cases over the last 26+ years. I am very pleased with this professional case. I really like this custom molded insert for the Rde wireless kit. All around you will not be disappointed with this case.
