This Novagrade 40.5mm Digiscoping Adapter for Olympus TG Camerasfrom Novagrade 40.5mm Digiscoping Adapter for Olympus TG Camerasis designed to allow digiscoping with an Olympus Stylus TOUGH TG-1, TG-2, TG-3, or TG-4 digital camera.

Use of this Digiscoping Adapter is accomplished by first detaching the removable front decoration ring that is located around an Olympus Stylus TOUGH TG-1, TG-2, TG-3, or TG-4 digital camera's lens. A separately-available Olympus CLA-T01 Lens Adapter can then be substituted for the front decoration ring. The 40.5mm front threads on the CLA-T01 Lens Adapter allow this Digiscoping Adapter to be screwed onto it, and the combination of an Olympus Stylus TOUGH TG-series digital camera, CLA-T01 Lens Adapter, and the Novagrade 40.5mm Digiscoping Adapter is made compatible with spotting scope eyepieces ranging from 39.00mm to 60.75mm in diameter by using one of the six included compression rings.

To use any of the compression rings, the retaining ring on the digiscoping adapter must first be unscrewed. A previously-installed compression ring can then be removed, allowing another compression ring to take its place before the retaining ring is returned to its original position. Each compression ring is constructed from an injection-molded plastic polymer, while the adapter's remaining components feature a lightweight, aluminum-alloy construction that has a corrosion-resistant, black anodized finish for durability.

[0.485 lb] Good quality lens and easy to use with a tripod. Not too happy with the digiscope. Not sturdy for my liking. Had to purchase DX 1.25- Smartphone Digiscoping Kit at an additional cost. This fits the Samsung S20. It is well made, easy to use and definitely holds the camera in place. 5

[0.485 lb] I bought the Olympus adapter for my Sony A6300 with the 16-50 kit lens after consulting with Novagrade. It is a great solution for digiscoping with my Sony and my Vortex Razor spotting scope! I have tried using the PhoneSkope adapter for my phone and found that I have to monkey around with it too much to be a viable solution for me. So I’m very happy to find that the Novagrade adapter and my A6300 is a quick and surefire solution.� The adapter screws on to the lens just like a filter does. I leave my UV filter in place. After determining which of the included adapters fits the eyepiece of the spotter it’s an easy process from then on. At first I tried attaching the camera and adapter to the spotter and then turning it on. It had to fight the weight of the camera to complete its start up initiation and lens movements. It didn’t always work. I spoke with the Novagrade folks and they recommended aligning and focusing the spotter and then �powering on the camera and place it on the spotter and securing it. That has worked every single time. You need to adjust the zoom of the lens to eliminate any vieneting of the image. Then frame the shot with the spotter's zoom capabilities. Focus the spotter then the camera. I have made some great images and video through this arrangement. I’m very happy with how easy it is to deploy it and get the first exposure made. I was videoing a group of 120+ elk this morning. Each time I moved to a new location I was able to set the tripod and frame the shot quickly. Highly recommended. 5

[0.485 lb] The t-mount fits the vortex perfectly. It comes with several adapters for smaller lenses but I didn't need to use any of them. The documentation is a little lacking but I was able to figure it out after a little bit. The Vello T-Mount to Micro Four Thirds adapter screws right to it and now the camera works with the spotting scope. 5

[0.485 lb] This is the perfect addition to the camera. Out of the box the lens is exposed all the time to whatever weather or environmental abrasions are around. This little gem covers the lens and has an easy open twist that open the protector and allows for taking pictures. Quick twist the other way and your lens is hidden. Buy one. 5
