A: The MOVCAM Kit for GH5 is not suitable for the GH4. The height is different. The GH4 can not enter the cage. This cage does not work at all with the GH4.

Q: 3. What's the distance between the 1/4 threaded holes (center-center)? is there usually a standard for that distance? thanks

A: I would guess that it is about 3/8th's of an inch. No, there is no known video standard. It is probably a machinist standard however.

Q: 4. Does the left side of the bracket have 1/4 brackets? Could a left handle be added to this?

A: Yes, there are numerous 1/4"-20 threaded accessory mounting points on all sides of this cage. You will be able to add a left handle.

Q: 5. I lost the screw that connects the cage to the a7s... does anyone know where I can get a replacement? I contacted Movcam and never received an answer. Thank you!

Q: 6. Did they fix the improperly cut handle rear cold shoe mount? This was the reason I returned it. Id buy again. Please advise

A: We are not aware of any issues with the cold shoe mount on this cage, nor are we are of any updates that have been made to the design.

Q: 7. Is it an arca type plate at the bottom of the cage?

A: No, those are Movcam dovetail rail slots. You can only use Movcam dovetails which are similar looking to the Arri dovetail but are not the same. This will work on MOV-303-1706 and MOV-303-1706B Dovetails.

Q: 8. Can you use this cage with metabones speedbooster on GH5s?

A: However, the support is not compatible with the Metabones PL Mount adapter as the bottom thread is a bit further away from the camera than with the EF adapters.

Q: 9. Is the rood rig removable

A: Yes the rod rig is removable.

Q: 10. Since it is light weight, can the Mfr provide piece part weight information?

A: This cage weighs 1 pound 4 ounces without the included 15mm rods. It weighs 1 pound 8.8 ounces once you add the 15mm rods.

[0.75 lb] Swapped to this plate from old v-mount plate on an Alexa XT. Working well and the Anton Bauer Dionics sit snugly on the back without any play. Battery info is transmitted to the camera display, which is also nice. A good upgrade! 5

[0.75 lb] This is the mini follow focus I've been looking for. I've used Arri's MFF-2 Follow Focus and loved the fact you can move the follow focus up, down, side to side. Very few other follow focus systems provided that option until I found this product. Now when I change lenses, I don't have to wait around adjusting the gears or size of the gear rings. It's so much faster to use the MF-1!I have been extremely satisfied with the MF-1. Great buildWorth the investment especially since it's still 1,000 cheaper than it's competition.Heavy DutyProfessionalIn my opinion it competes with the Arri MFF-2 Follow Focus. 5

[0.75 lb] Nothing more frustrating than a soft focus and this equipment is what you need for critical focus and focus pulling. I use this F.F. with my Canon C100 and 3 Canon L series lenses. It is mounted on a gear by SHAPE which I also purchased from B&H 5

[0.75 lb] Otherwise, can't tell you how much nicer and cleaner my DSLR rigs look. Gone is the gaff tape, rip wraps, rubber bands, etc. So much nicer and professional!What's awesome is that it has 2 D tap connectors, so you can run multiple accessories.The photo is slightly wrong. The actually connections on the bracket are female lemo connections. Haven't had a good chance to get into these just yet, but you have 3 of the larger lemo size 12 volt (1B I believe), 1 0B lemo for a 5 volt, and 1 0B lemo for a 7.2 volt.The other review about this item is for the item in the photo. However, that's an OLD photo of the wrong part. Currently, as of 11/18/2012, I can tell you that the connections are female Lemo connections, NOT what is pictured in the photo.WARNING!!! Just to be on the safe side, call B&H photo before you buy this to make sure it IS the correct part. 5

[0.75 lb] This is simply the best cage for the money. I tried the low end (Zeus) and high end (Zacuto) options, and there is absolutely no second guessing about buying this cage. It's got every option I need and then some and it's easy to take off for stabilizer use. It's also lightweight and I like that it is painted black instead of silver. Highly recommended accessory for the GH5. 5

[0.75 lb] I own an Amira and I wanted a low-cost, smaller follow focus that was under $1k for some side rentals. This one hits the nail on the head. It's certainly a bit heavier than I expected, but heavier/robust is better than lighter/flimsy in this industry. It has zero backlash (so far). 5
