The RPS Lighting Studio Metal Counterweightis a 4.5 lb weight used to counter balance gear on a stand. With a male and a female 1/4"-20 thread, the weight can be screwed onto light stands with matching threads. It is also of use when using a monopod as a small boom.

[0.4 lb] Ordered these to use with my strobes after a plastic hot shoe failed and one of my flashes took a nose dive from a stair railing. Thankfully there was a Christmas tree below it to break its fall to the flash survived, but the plastic hot shoes are gone from my kit. This feel solid and works great. No-brainer of an upgrade. 5

[0.4 lb] Inexpensive as triggers go. So far nothing bad to say about it. I haven't used it alot, but so far it's great,simple to use,choose between two spots to mount an umbrella in, feels and looks pretty solid, nice that you can mount three flashes(I tried it with my old flashes and a newer one), or you can possibly use one shoe to attach a wired slave from. Attachment in bottom lets you choose a camera tripod mount(me) or a dedicated stand or good tripod you take the head off of. 5
