The BC-L70A features an advanced charging system, that allows quick, efficient charging; up to two battery packs can be attached and charged simultaneously.

The BC-L70A is compact, lightweight and easy to carry.

The BC-L70A checks connected battery packs for abnormalities. Two indicators will flash alternately, if a battery pack cannot be charged normally.

Should the AC power cord be accidentally unplugged from the AC power source, a charged battery pack, attached to the BC-L70A, provides an alternate back-up power to the connected device.

[Simultaneous] I recently bought the Oly Stylus 1. Unfortunately, I either did not see, or there was no mention, that there was a battery charger that went with it. I also forgot to buy a second battery. I recently took the camera on a trip to Hong Kong and Thailand and the battery went dead. Tried to recharge with the USB cord and it didn't work. Came home and found out that I should have bought this item. I also will never forget to buy a backup battery next time I buy a new camera. 5

[Quick Charge] Does a great job & does it quickly! The power cord needs to be taken care of as they tend to break at the plug in section. I've had to replace 2 of the them 5

[12.6 x 9 x 8.9"] I have Olympus batteries I could charge in my OM-5, but the correct charger--an Olympus charger for BCS-5 batteries--is inexpensive insurance that things last as long as they can. And B&H had the item for $15 less than other sites. And free shipping. Best deal I'd found. 5

[Simultaneous] Not sure what else to say, it charges a battery, and that is what I wanted it to do. The charge time was normal. I always like having an external battery charger, this allows you to keep using your camera as a battery is charging. I highly recommend having at least one of these with you. If you do a lot of filming/shooting, best to have two. 5
