A: The Cinegears Ghost-Eye 150m has a 492' range and works over a frequency band that runs from 5.1 to 5.9 GHz. You should be able to find a channel that will work for you. However this product runs on a public, license free frequency band. The only way to see if it will work in a particular area is to actually test it out and adjust the settings. This is a returnable item if it does not work for you.

This unit is a great line of sight unit. We use it for our run-and-gun onstage shooting. We shoot concert type events for the most part but also use it for seminars, weddings, and other events. As long as you have a good line-of-sight, it works flawlessly. Was disappointed it did not come with a power source on either end. 5

All the specs indicate line of sight range, but my need is for wireless transmission on a run & gun audience/stage camera for concerts and live events. I was worried it might not work if bodies got in the way or if the camera went around a corner or behind a bleacher, etc. Havent tested in a large audience yet, but I can go out of my office, close the door and get about 50 feet before receiving artifacts. Going down a staircase, connection is lost completely and it takes a while to reconnect. As long as the camera operator stops moving away when artifacts begin, this should work reliably for me. 5

I'm extremely happy with this case. I use it to house a Canon HV20 and a bunch of other supplies (cables, tapes, etc.). It's more than sufficient for this purpose. It's strong, high quality, and keeps everything very well protected. I haven't had any problem with my stuff being beaten around or anything like that. It is a little heavy, but I have to admit I've never had a hard-shelled case so I don't know the average weight of one of these. Overall, a great, strong, protective, and very well padded case. Highly recommended! 5

After some disappointment with other wireless systems, I think we've found the one we need. Worked flawlessly for us on the football field at the first high school game of the season. Our camera person was able to go anywhere without any delay and didn't lose signal. We were easily 500 feet away (with some obstructions) from the receiver at some points. Considering purchasing a second unit. 5

This case was designed to be rugged and durable while also being easily carried about. We bought the case to transport our video projector in Africa, where roads are rough and bouncy... and equipment takes a beating. We love the look of the case but more importantly we are certain it will provide the protection we need for sensitive equipment. Handles, latches and even the feet are designed for ease of use and long wear. A great bargain in a hard-sided case. The foam interior is a real plus, too, providing needed cushion at the right price. We love this case so much we ordered a second one in red. 5
