Mono-lock design allows you to lock and unlock the three sections of each leg using only one locking lever. The rotating lever provides a robust clamp mechanism that secures the legs and prevents them from slipping once locked. The single lever on each leg allows you to quickly lock the leg height without having to use two levers, making for a quicker workflow and sparing you from bending down to open the bottom leg lock to raise the legs fully.

The legs feature spiked feet that provide solid purchase on soft surfaces when not using the included ground level spreader.

The ground level spreader attaches to the spiked feet for working on delicate or hard surfaces.

The included mid-level spreader allows you to work on uneven terrain, such as stairs or rocks, while preventing the legs from flying apart. When using the mid-level spreader, you can use the included rubber feet to protect delicate surfaces from the tripod's foot spikes.

The head features a tilt range of - 60 to 90°, which allows you to tilt the camera so it points from almost straight down to straight up.

The 100mm bowl/base provides a wide platform for balancing and working with cameras and accessories up to 39.6 lb.

The bubble level illuminates at the touch of a button.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does the tripod head have a leveling bowl type adjustment?

A: Yes, There is a knob on the bottom of the head that can be loosened and allows you to level the camera without changing the height of the legs.

Q: 2. Is it possible to buy replacement heads or a head that is compatible with the mount of the tripod legs? My head is super stiff when panning left to right.

A: The head is removable so yes, you could replace it with another of your choice.

Q: 3. Does this include Quick-Release Adapter with plate?

A: Hello,a quick-release system is built into the head of this tripod kit. The kit includes a quick release plate, and you can buy an extra under the SKU GP1 if you want to prep for quick-swapping or are unfortunate enough to lose plates easily.

Q: 4. Monopod mode can be used as extension for gimbal?

A: Yes, if a end-user really need the extra height it could be used with a gimbal but we would suggest to use with out ball head and a bushing is needed in order to do so. Q: 5. It is written that it comes with mid-spreader with rubber foot, but I don't see it in the picture. Could you confirm it?

A: The mid-level spreader, ground-level spreader and rubber feet are all included with the E-Image Two-Stage Carbon Fiber Tripod.

Q: 6. Hi, can I take the tripod head off and mount a varizoom solo jib in it? Would it hold?

A: This tripod has a load capacity of 17.6 pounds, while a Varizoom Solo Jib that is Carbon Fiber will weigh right around 7 pounds. If you keep the weight of the camera you are putting on it low this tripod will be able to handle the Varizoom Jib. The jib will also connect right to the tripod head, you would not need to remove it.

Q: 7. Does this tripod come with a bag with a shoulder strap?

A: Yes! Is a really good product 100% recomendable

Q: 8. Does this work with jvc 850u??

A: Yes it will. This tripod has a 22 pound load capacity, which is more than enough for B&H # JVGYHM850C14. You will just want to add B&H # JVKA551U, which is the JVC KA551U Tripod Adapter Plate.https://bhpho.to/2wPAlP9

Q: 9. can you remove the head and put on a short glide?

A: The short answer is yes.You will need an adapter. I suggest either one of the attached adapters seen below. The Manfrotto has a low profile and is very solid. However, there is no leveling possible, for it holds the head in just one position. The ikan adapter is more expensive, rests the head and camera about 2 higher. However you can level with it.

Q: 10. Hi, what is the minimum camera weight for this tripod? Would it work with a small DSLR camera as well as the heavier camera options?

A: The manufacturer has not published a minimum weight capacity and in a pinch, you can probably mount a DSLR on this without issue, but the head is designed for heavier cameras, which is when its counterbalance prowess and overall performance shine.

[5 Steps plus 0] Using this fluid head/tripod with a canon DSLR for a variety of projects/uses. It's a beast. Tripod is of solid construction and very stable/capable on a variety of terrains. Fluid head has adjustable drag and great range of motion (90* down) + counterbalanced. More than capable of handling a DSLR with mic, lights, etc. Probably better/best suited for a larger/heavier video camera. Was considering the Magnus VT-4000 but this was a bit cheaper. Probably a bit larger (and heavier) than the VT4000 when condensed? Carry case is nice and pretty rugged. Handles + removable shoulder strap. Interior pocket for miscellaneous items. Shipped with a Styrofoam piece that covers the head and another in the bag to protect the head from impact- both of which I will be keeping to make sure its protected when I'm on the go. Well worth the $. If this is in your price range look no further.

[61.5" / 156 cm] This dolly is nearly perfect for my needs. The wheels are butter smooth, even working fairly well on grass. It accommodates two types of tripod feet. The legs lock in place via the hand-tightened screw.

I bought this dolly to move a fairly heavy jib rig (about 75 lbs). It handles it no problem. I moved the heavy rig over gravel yesterday and tipped the whole thing over not once, but twice. This was not the dolly's fault. The dolly held up fine. I thought it might get bent or twisted from the falls, but there was no such damage.

The only improvement I can recommend is to replace the hand-tightened screw (for locking/collapsing the legs) with a spring-loaded pin. That would be much faster and equally effective. That's a pretty minor critique though.

[61.5" / 156 cm] We have the GH06 and were happy enough to jump up to this one. This is very solid, silky smooth, and it just feels right. We use a 15-20 lbs setup so we haven't maxed out the head, but I see no reason it won't hold up. We also work with three other camera-ops who use this with heavier cameras and they all have great things to say. We are also huge fans of the carbon tripod legs with single lock. Great idea!

[-60 to 90°] I was searching for a lightweight, rugged video tripod and head that could support my RED EPIC-W when its all rigged up or my lighter Sony FS7. I have been working on a TV show for Discovery Science Channel in Chernobyl and had to travel light. The GC102 and GH15 head were perfect.

It collapses down small enough to fit into my Pelican Air 1615 case for my checked back with my clothes. I have also been able to pack it in an LL Bean rolling duffle as well since its less then 30" collapsed.

The head is very smooth and the range of drag settings allows me to use the RED in various configurations or my light FS7. It's rugged as I hauled it up the and down a side of a mountain in Utah to film in Arches and got quite banged up, but no issues in the mechanical operation. Its logged over 50,000 miles of travel with me and is still going strong.

[39.6 lb / 18 kg] I have primarily used Sachtler and Vinten tripods throughout my 20 years in production. I have purchased multiple Sachtler 18s and 20s for companies that I have worked for, and I loved them. A couple years ago I was building my own camera, lighting/grip packages. I was buying everything at once so I needed to find a cheap tripod to get me by for a year.

At NAB 2019 I tried out ever tripod that I could find. One vendor even sent me a $4,000 tripod to demo for a month, but nothing came close to this E-Image.

It’s Carbon Fiber, and what I love is that with one turn of the “mono-lock”, both stages of the tripod colapse/extend. Also the head is solid and smooth.

If I have to come up with a complaint, I feel that if I have a long lens on my camera and I want the tension on high, I would like for there to be a bit more tension. I also miss the quick release plate, but for a savings of $6,000, I think that I can deal with that!

Needless to say, my “temporary tripod” has become my permanent tripod and I just bought a second one for my second camera package. If you happen to be all about brands, just buy some Sachtler stickers to cover up the name! I think I’ll use my $12,000 in savings on my two sets of sticks to put towards buying a cargo van!

Happy shooting!
