[1x CR2 ] I have this remote, previously found in my Genaray Powerhouse. I also already discovered that this remote works with other Genaray lights such as the PortaBright the day I got it by borrowing it from my Powerhouse light, but good to know it also works with the Endeavor. The PortaBright doesn't come with remote, so, that's an additional purchase unless they started including it...

Overall, its a remote and it it highly necessary to have one! BTW. I've always found that a remote control in hands is far better and more reliable then those lights that only offer App control and don't come with a control at all...
[I have received this product in exchange for my honest review]

As you probably read in the description, it works on both, bi-color and non bi-color lights. In my case, ALL lights I'm using with this remote are 5600K locked, non bi-color. The point is... Even if you accidentally set the wrong color temperature on the remote, it doesn't affect the light working, nor does it cut out responding, which is great. If you have a PortaBright bi-color, then you'll be able to enjoy also playing with the color temperature controls on the remote. (I with my PortaBright version was a bi-color)

LOVE that beautiful BRIGHT green illuminated display!

Cons: Power button: Only turns off the remote, not the light.
I really would like to see future remotes from Genaray to be able to power the light off pressing a separate Power Button. To turn the light off from the remote, you have to press the down arrow until 0ff appears. The additional downside on that, is that there's no way to restart the light back at the exact brightness. If there was a power button that did both, turn the remote and the light off (like the Godox SL-60W does), it would resume the same brightness it was from powering the light off.

Another one is the duration of the backlit light on display. 5 seconds is too early for the green backlight to go off. I wish it lasted at least 15 seconds.

[Picatinny] I purchased two PortsBrights a few months ago for product photography and have been waiting for this remote to be in stock.
Simple and easy to use, works as promised and also allows you to power down the light between shots (but still wirelessly connected for the next shot). An indispensable part of my lighting set-up. It probably should be included in a lighting kit. Nonetheless, it was money well spent.

[1x CR2 ] I've owned some of the most popular rangefinders and used most of the rest at one time or another while playing golf with others. As a longtime Canon user, I was happy they jumped into this category with their optics and technology.
As a rangefinder:
+ Locks onto pin with prism immediately. -Faster than all the rest I've ever used, it's actually quite surprising how fast it locks on.
+ Unit vibrates when lock is established.
+ Numbers are crisp and easy to see in viewfinder. Integrated diopter adjustment for those who need it like me.
+ Unit is small, lightweight and fits in back pocket - I mostly walk while playing and wanted a small form factor. Always wondered why most of them are not smaller. Not an issue in my hand to hold steady while taking readings with image stabilization.
+ Rechargeable battery via USB C (no more searching for CR2s). Battery charge icon is lit in viewfinder each time unit is utilized.
+ Zoom function is handy to located far targets and even help identify golf balls- was on the tee side of a creek and wasn't sure whose ball carried the hazard. Used the zoom function to identify the ball from 20 yards away.
+Canon menu is simple to navigate and set the unit/change and modify.
+ Camera is an added bonus; I did not purchase it for that function but have used it and works to my expectations with a small handheld device. Same with the video.
- Only option that some will miss is the internal magnet that other brands have to enable the unit to be put on the support bar of a golf car and help you forget your rangefinder after golf.

[1x CR2 ] I purchased these for hunting and have used them for about one week glassing mule deer and pronghorn is the wide open spaces of Wyoming. The glass is shockingly crisp and bright with zero edge distortion or chromatic aberration and is exceptionally bright in low light. The electronics are quick and responsive. The controls are very intuitive and tactile. I compared these side by side with the Leica Geovids and Swaro EL Range and I could not tell a difference in glass quality. The electronics in the Swaro are worse but the electronics in the Geovids were superior (although I don't need a ballistic calculator in my optics). One thing to note is that the binos DO CALCULATE TRUE HORIZONTAL RANGE. Why that isn't advertised is beyond me. All in all if someone gifted me $4k to spend on binos I'd buy these again...and then spend the other $2500 or so on something else.

[1x CR2 ] This Nikon Laser 50 is better than the 4K Black. I now have both, and did an AB test on them.

They range exactly the same, at about 3700 yards each(best case) and about 1900 on trees.

The main difference is the L50 has a Magnesium case, and will display angle or compensated yardage in the display.

The Laser 50 also comes with a 5 year warranty.

I'm not sure why Nikon called it a 50, and not a 4K Black mark II, but this performs exactly the same as the old 4k Black.
