The F-Mount 1.000x Telecentric Lens from Opto Engineering is designed to fit 35mm format detectors with very high resolution, such as 11, 16, or 29MP. This combination is the typical choice for extremely accurate measurement of large items such as engine parts, glass or metal sheets, PCBs, and electronic components, LCDs, etc. The lens is also suitable for 4k and 8k linescan cameras and can be successfully used to determine the diameter of cylindrical objects such as shafts, turned metal parts, machine tools, etc.

A: It has a slight click at each full stop. There is no click at 1/2 or 1/3 stops. You can adjust the Aperture between stops. But you will not know exactly what the lens is set to.

A: No automatic aperture on this lens.

Q: 5. How well does this lens perform when the aperture is closed all the way down (CA and sharpness)?

A: While we are not aware of any specific testing for CA and Sharpness at various apertures, the Xeen 35mm should perform very well. It is a great option for a Cinema lens at an affordable price.

Q: 6. Is there a difference between the glass of the AE chip equipped lens and the fully manual lens?

A: There is no difference in the glass optics of the lenses. The only difference is the Rokinon 35mm f/1.4 AS UMC Lens for Canon EF (AE Chip) incorporates an AE microprocessor that enables the camera to electronically confirm focus as well as permit camera-based control over exposure settings.

Q: 7. Is the lens whether-sealed ?

A: The Rokinon 35mm f/1.4 is not weather sealed.

[F] I bought this bag back on 2009 and didn't write any review till now, so far this bag has seen a lot. Most of my assignments are outdoors and I always carry with tripods, lightstands and soft boxes, always full capacity. It also has been through a lot of flights and airports, it has never failed and the zipper still flawless. Now I'm looking for an other one. Nothing wrong with my old bag, I just have more equipment to carry. 5

[1.000x] This is a very durable, thick material. There are some nice pockets inside and out. The ends are thick. Sure if you want to toss it around you may break your stands. I don't toss around my stands and can get a lot in here. 5

[16] Using it to carry lightstands and some modifiers. Been using it for last few years now and it might not come with any paddings, it's a relialbe bag that you can trust the quality. No rips or zipper breaks yet.. strap connectors are still intact. My decision to purchase this bag was the size and price. I don't want to spend alot of money for carrying lighting stands... 5

[1 mm] I have finally found the perfect bag to carry my light stands. Let's face it my 4 light stands spend a lot of time in the back of my car. Then I carry them into a shoot and back out. Why would I spend more for a bag to go to and from my Outback? I tried another modestly priced bag from B&H and it fell apart in a month. This bag is not gonna fall apart for a long time. It is durable,well built and has tons of space. If you need a solid basic light stand bag buy this one. 5
