A: The hood is compatible but is not made specifically for the Canon 70D. Q: 3. Does this viewfinder work with the PXW-X400? Will the camera need a different setting for it work?

A: No. The following unit is designed and made PXW-X500, PMW-500, HXCD70 - to attach the viewfinder to the PMW500, the firmware version on the cam must be 1.10 or later. To attach the viewfinder to the HXC-D70, the firmware version on the camera must be 1.21 or later.

Q: 4. Will this work with Canon 5D Mark II camera?

A: No. The 3/2 will not work. You will need to order the LCDVF 4/3. I don't see a link to the exact item on B&H website, otherwise I would provide it. Please give them a call. They should have it in their system.

A: is not specifically designed for use with the Sony Alpha a7R II Mirrorless Digital Camera. The correct item was the Kinotehnik LCDVF 4/3 Viewfinder • MFR SKU # LCDVF43. Unfortunately, we do not currently carry the Kinotehnik LCDVF 4/3 Viewfinder in our inventory.

[Focus Peaking] I attached it to my GH2 and it works great. Focusing is much easier now, even without the assitence feature. A must for filming. 5

[244 ppi] I just started shooting on location a few months ago, it was frustrating to think I captured a good shot, only to upload it to my computer and see that I did not open the lens far enough (blurry) in areas where I didn't want there to be. I saw a photographer using one of these and decided to order one. I took it on my next photo shoot, it gave me piece of mind in knowing I captured the shot. I always order from B&H. Always fast shipping and excellent customer support. In fact I chatted with a representative online prior to ordering this. Quality seems excellent, very happy with the purchase. I typically opt out of spending money on camera gear other than lenses, however if you get paid to shoot on location, this is a must have. I could not imagine having to tell my client that we have to shoot again because the pictures did not come out clear as originally thought. Just buy it! 5

[Focus Peaking] This is one of the greatest tools that I have added to my photography bag. It allows me to take a closer look for focus or closed eyes in photographs and is especially useful in full sun conditions. I use it all the time during my outdoor shots. I love this product! 5

[60 Hz] I think this is an excellent product and I am glad to see BH has started stocking it. Functionally it is extremely easy to use, the magnetic attachment is solid yet not too hard to remove. The optics are sharp and the LCD becomes huge to the eye (you can even see the gaps between pixels). The included accessories are also a nice touch. The fabric eye piece cover is definitely nicer than the rubber and the neoprene carrying case is a nice touch. The only downside is size but that is true of any loupe. I use it on a NEX-5n and prefere the modular solution to the deidcate EVF. 5

[Focus Peaking] Received the LCDVF 16/9 and tried it out on my Nex-5n right away. I did not want to glue the frame on my LCD directly so I installed a Clarivue screen protector and glued it on there. Kept some weight on it and it is solid strong. Magnetically clipping the LCDVF to the frame is secure although I wouldn't carry the camera from there. The picture quality of the LCDVF is great and it makes the focusing a breeze. Best of all it leaves the accessory port free. I really like the foam pad that the company included for the eye piece as well as the carry pouch. What I do not care for is the lanyard, it is annoying and it gets in the way. The one thing I would have liked is a diopter setting but this is not the case. I guess it is one way to bring price down compared to other similar products. 5
