The Tether Tools Rock Solid 2-Head Cross Bar Side Armfrom Tether Tools Rock Solid 2-Head Cross Bar Side Armis designed to be used with the Tether Tools Rock Solid Tripod Cross Bar in order to create a variable height "T" setup. Mounting the side arm to the cross bar permits the user to adjust the height of a mounted camera up to 24" up or down. The side bar features two usable mounting points - one on top and one on the bottom for mid, high, or low-angle photography.

The side arm includes a custom fit carrying case for both travel and storage.

A: Both ends have male attachments and they are different sizes. Even if you could attach them together you wouldn't get a strong attachment, so the camera would wobble. Plus it would place the weight so far out of the center of gravity that the tripod would fall over.

A: I use mine with a 190XPROB. It works just fine, although you need to keep the legs about 1/2 extended to keep there from being too much rotation since a ball head on the side arm has a lot more leverage than a camera sitting on top of the tripod. For my set up the only other thing I have besides ballhead and sidearm is a laptop table.

A: The side arm extension fits on my Bogan tripod. At first I thought it would be a problem because there is a large hole for an oversized stud to mount on the tripod. The center mount is adaptable to large or small studs. You can mount it on almost any tripod. The same is true on the extended arms. A small or large stud comes with the unit to again mount almost anything on the arms. What does not come with the unit is a counterweight to go on the opposite arm. You can move the counterweight anywhere on the arm to help keep the center of gravity centered at the top of the tripod.

A: No the Tether Tools Rock Solid VESA Direct Adapter for iMac Computer is not compatible with 2020 iMac displays.

[2.3 lb] This Tripod cross bar is very solid. Well built and very versatile. I use it as an extension on my tripod attach it to a set of rolling wheels which allows me to use it as a mini studio stand when I shoot University Grads on location. It allows speed in shooting. Also with the extra end, an attachment of a� monitor is simple. 5

[3/8"-16] I was a bit skeptical about this but have to say it works really well. I have an old tripod that I've set up with a top for my tethered laptop during shoots and the tripod roller just makes it so much easier to move things around as I adjust my shots. Design is more compact than I expected (which is good) and comes with a nice case for storage and transport. Quite happy with it so far. 5
