The tool set lets you open parts without damaging or leaving scratches on the parts. It's better to have some protection on the glass surface before using them to open or close a lens. 5

Man I love this tool! Didn't realize how much easier working on old lenses could be until I started using these lens suckers. Very strong suction. Highly recommended if you like to dyi lens cleaning/repairs. 5

I've been cleaning and repairing vintage lenses and cameras for a while now and this tool makes it so much easier to get to the difficult to reach lenses without leaving marks on them after cleaning. Highly recommended. 5

it works as it promises ! used right now on old Minolta cameras and lenses. Product price is absolutely proportioned ! Great service and support of B&H and superfast shipping ! Compliments sincerley !!! ... but note, if you are outside US as I am (EU), shipping doubles the costs . But it's still more conveniant than on amazon and arrives much faster. The only little complain/comment is that customs and duties, as in automatic check-out, are calculated a bit higher than the effective cost I paid done with pay at receiving (14,13 USD vs. 11,18 USD). For professionals with registrated VAT-Nr. the second mode gives also the chance to have a regular invoice from shipping company to be deduced. 5

You really need something like this if you are going to go digging after tiny pieces of precision glass deep inside a lens. Very tight grip, can actually unscrew elements. Allows you to handle lens elements without getting your greasy fingerprints all over them. Sometimes it can be a bit difficult to get the thing to let loose of the glass if you squeezed all the air out of it when you attached it. 5

I'm very pleased with this set. I can now open some of my vintage lenses that I wasn't able to before. Really nice. Now I need a bigger set for my bigger telephoto lenses. 5
