This angled-viewing Barska 20-60x80 WP Spotting Scope Angled Blackin black from Barska 20-60x80 WP Spotting Scope Angled Blackmakes the ideal companion at the range, in the field, or on the trail. At the low 20x it can be used for taking in expansive views and to find your subjects, while dialing it up to 60x gives you the capability of making detailed observations—even at long distances. The scope's large oversized 80mm objective, combined with fully multi-coated optics, draws in copious amounts of light, giving it competent low-light performance such as at dawn or dusk, or when trying to pick game out from under heavily-canopied forests. With its eyepiece set at a 45° angle relative to the optical tube, your head and neck are in a comfortable position whether you're standing, sitting, or lying prone.

To withstand the rigors of a life lived outdoors, the housing is nitrogen filled and O-ring sealed to be water and fogproof—even in extreme conditions. The exterior is wrapped in a protective black rubber armor that is textured to provide a slip-resistant grip when setting up and breaking down. To further protect the scope on the trail, Barska includes a soft stay-on/view-through case. An extendable shade slides out to reduce glare on sunny days to improve image quality and helps to keep rain or snow off the objective if the weather turns. Helping to get you observing faster, also included is a tabletop tripod with a pan/tilt head.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Where is the Barska manufactured?

A: China.

Q: 2. Is is possible to mount a Nikon D600 or D700 on this with an adapter?

A: As I understand it, this scope can be used with any major DSLR camera. It comes with a T ring that screws right onto threads on the ocular end of the eyepiece (remove eye cup to reveal threads, but eyepiece itself stays in place). All you need in addition is a camera mount specific t adapter (available from B&H for less than $10 for my Canon EOS mount DSLRs). I assume the above Nikons are DSLRs, so just ask for the appropriate T adapter ring. The camera body can then be attached to the scope, just as you would attach any lens. Hope this helps.

Q: 3. Can you take pictures with an Iphone with this telescope?

A: Yes will sell adapters that will attach your Smart Phone. I would need to know the exact iPhone Model you have to make a recommendation.

Q: 4. Is the eye piece threaded? I want to attach a digiscope adapter so I can get a camera on there

A: No, although I believe an adaptor is available for a camera. It is a good scope for for my use but I believe you have to shop and compare by going to a retail outlet and spend some time testing models against what your needs/wants are. Can't do this online although after going through this exercise, the best deals are online.

Q: 5. Can this scope be used with a Sony A6000. Is a T adapter available?

A: That is not a problem. All you would need is the Vello T-Mount Lens to Sony E-Mount Camera Adapter. Website link: https://bhpho.to/2crVPMn

Q: 6. Does this include the eyepiece ? If so which? Thanks

A: Yes the Nikon Fieldscope ED50 13-30x50 Spotting Scope comes with a 13-30x zoom eyepiece.

Q: 7. Is there an adapter to connect Canon DSLR?

A: To connect your Canon DSLR to the scope you will need the: Novagrade Digiscoping Adapter for Canon DSLR Cameras BH #NOUA00CA01 • MFR #UA-00CA-01 https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1007578-REG/novagrade_ua_00ca_01_canon_camera_universal_adapter.html

Q: 8. Is the only difference between the Celestron Regal and Trailseeker is the ED glass?

A: Yes plus magnesium construction compared to composite and additional coatings on the elements.

Q: 9. Is it advisable as scope for adjusting rifle sights in a shooting range up to 100 meters?

A: Ideal with the 20-60X eyepiece

Q: 10. Looking for a long range shot spotter out to 1000 meters...would the gladiator suit for this use ?

A: I use mine to watch ships works wellWould prefer binoculars

[20 to 60x] Wanted to upgrade to a decent scope but did not want to spend $2000. The Trailseeker 80mm is better than I expected. Some online reviews were not raving about going past 30x zoom as far as clarity. I was more than pleased at 60x zoom, photo taken was using I-phone adaptor on windy day at 60x zoom.

[80 mm] This scope is well built, and has a rotating tripod mount that allows
viewing in almost any position. The image quality is very bright
and sharp up to about 40mm and then gradually darkens

in the 50 X to 60 X range which is to be expected. The eye relief is generous and extends, and the field of view is excellent. The focusing knobs both coarse and fine are together and a bit awkward to focus quickly and takes getting used to. It would have been nice if like their other scopes it had a built in sight on the side.

I like the screw-on protective metal cap on the eyepiece along with the included stay on carrying case. I think it is a terrific spotting scope for its price class although it might be a bit large to carry in the field. I recently purchased the Celestron Omni (Plossi) eyepiece – 32mm which now provides clearer and brighter image easily matching scopes costing three times the price...Louie D

[20 to 60x] We have been watching birds from our living room window and this is a great addition to binoculars. Great so far!

[17.0 to 14.2 mm] What I wanted wasn't at the local retailers so I had not way to check out any product before buying and shipping. And I wanted to make sure I got the right product the first time so I didn't have to return any orders, or have to live with something that wasn't exactly what I wanted. So before buying a spotting scope on line, I read a number of reviews written by professionals. The Barska Blackhawk spotting scopes were highly rated by each reviewer, always in the top 1 or 2. And I wasn't disappointed when I received mine. The quality and performance were exactly what I read about and wanted. I am more than satisfied with my Barska scope.

[17.0 to 14.2 mm] Great spotting scope for the price! The view is crystal clear and even out to long distances and under higher zoom. Eye relief and light gathering with the 80mm lense is outstanding. This is one of the best units you can get for the price.

[8.8 lb] The TrailSeeker 80 offers great performance at a value price. I bought it for my wife. We have a small pond outside our backyard and the scope gives great clarity to the waterfowl who inhabit the wetlands. I plan on building a digiscope adaptor which will allow us to easily record videos and pictures.

I spent a lot of time researching the options, and am very satisfied with this purchase. Yes, you can do better, but nothing in the price range comes close. Given the price and ease of setup, this is the perfect package for the price. It's relatively portable and should provide years of service.

[Angled] This is a great product. Very happy with my choice and the source. Product was packaged well, no damage to scope Mfg case is a little flimsy not as robust as it could be for this type of instrument. (Will be upgrading case) Not sure about 2 day ship though. ordered Sunday and it arrived on Friday. No matter how I do the math, did not come out as 2 days.
