[0.785 lb] Would I put 100 lbs. on it? Probably not. But if you have a heavy amp this probably isn't your first thought either. Does it have a simple design with leveling screws for each arm and does it easily hold my turntable, yes! Can I now jump up and down in my crazy old house and have rock solid needle contact, yes! Very happy, I've lived in a lot of old houses but never one this flexible. Shelf fixes all that and for cheap and leveled. Brilliant. 5

[0.785 lb] I would trust a lot of weight to this adapter. It is part of a number to pieces you might need to install a projector the right way. A little pricy but if you have invested 3 or 4 thousand or even more in a quality projector do't you think it's worth it to install a high quality mount? 5

[0.785 lb] It's strong and black. The mounting hardware is not appropriate for holding the weight of the column, mount, and projector. They supplied large plastic Sheetrock anchors and screws. This should be attached to a ceiling joist! The hardware was not right for doing this. I had to buy 3/8 x 2 lag screws and washers, then paint them black after they were installed. 5
