[Zipper] The safe arrived well packed with no damage. Its about 65 lb. so some people may need help moving it, I did not. You get a big metal box with a thick door that locks via three thick metal pins which unlock electronically if you have a correct fingerprint. There are better safes out there, but you would still need a welding torch or a grinder/cutter to get through this thing, unless you know how to compromise the fingerprint reader. I plan to secure it to a wall/stud in a closet using the predrilled mounting holes. I was able to fit three rifles in it with no problems. It comes with one shelf but brackets for two shelves, I had a piece of thick plastic cut to the dimensions of the shelf and now I have two shelves. Shelves are big enough to store handguns, ammo, valuables etc. Because I am only using it for three rifles, there is room leftover in the main section. Fingerprint reader works great. This is a good safe for the $ I paid. Hopefully you can get it cheaper.

[Universal] These cases are insane. I am using this one for two Sachtler tripods and it is absolutely perfect for them. The latches are fantastic on these and the cases are light and built well.

[Zipper] This is a great upgrade to my old case that you can customize the interior to fit your needs and gear. I used it for my compound bow and arrows and more. A good trick to cut the foam is a very sharp chef knife.

[Zipper] The safe is constructed much better than expected. It is not as secure as a more expensive gun safe. I purchased the safe for a quick access for long guns while being more secure. I have a real safe and will move guns to it when on vacation, etc. You could never get into the big safe quickly if needed. The lock works well, but is plastic. It looks as if access would be difficult with lock removed. The main drawback is the whole safe could be stolen if not secured to the wall or floor. The safe is a good compromise between security and speed.

[Zipper] Wow, a great addition to my man toy. Super easy to install on my M-lock rail and tools are included. A sturdy and high quality product. Read some negatives about the size. That has not been an issue with me. Matches my gun light and looks great mounted, a bit intimidating.

[Zipper] It's a good safe, if you have rifles with a scope or a pistol grip they will only fit width wise and you will only be able to get two in there, the pistol shelf is only big enough for one pistol. So it's a little tight, but if that's what you have,it's great! I love it, quick access without a key to have my guns right in my closet. My wife is happy because no one but me and her can get to them. The finger print scan works 98% on the first try. The programming is easy had all ten fingers scanned in in minutes. The wall mount provided was an expanding drywall anchor and it was long enough that it let the safe sit away from the wall for the baseboard trim. 2 of the six anchors was enough that it wouldn't fall over but it wouldn't prevent a thief. Overall very good for the price glad I purchased, works as advertised

[Zipper] Purchased on 5/3/2013. I added 2 motion activated LED lights on the interior which come on when the door is opened. I mounted unit to the floor and wall in the front corner of the bedroom closet. Memorized all the fingers on my hands and my wife's. A good tip is to store multiple positions of each finger because when in a hurry you never know how you will put your finger on the reader. Full size 9mm on the top shelf and a SKS with a Tapco stock and an AR-15 fit in the lower half but not side by side. I have to put the SKS in and then the AR-15. I can also lay my compact 380 beside the 9mm when I come home but it is a tight fit.

[Black] The green laser is bright enough for day shooting. At night, you can see the needle thin laser as it streaks towards your target. Cool and intimidating at the same time.

Perfect for keeping weapons away from children etc. Had some difficulty at first with biometric scanner.Barska customer service most helpful.Super dry hands the culprit, change of dish washing detergent,hand lotion once in awhile, problem solved.Easy to program, love the silent mode.Easy to mount to wall.I'm sure its not fire, flood,explosion proof, but it's not 900 lbs.either.Included back up keys a good idea.It is what it is.Does what I want at a great price & free expedited shipping from B&H !
