Q: 1. This is pretty inexpensive. Is it sturdy enough to use as a Walking Stick, and can you get replacements for the rubber cap on the bottom?

A: While it would be okay to walk around with with a camera on top, it is not meant to be used as a walking stick. Oben does not sell rubber caps for the bottom.

A: You still need to brace yourself with this even with the legs out and it would be necessary to purchase a ball head or pistol grip head to adjust for uneven surfaces to get a level. The legs on the tripod don't allow for you to adjust for horz/vert uneven ness in the ground the monopod is standing on.I can ajdust by grabbing railing, chairs or other surfaces to compensate but a pistol grip like Sliks would work much better.

A: No, it's just a rubber pad at the bottom of the stick. I looked at it this morning.

Q: 8. I neeed to switch the screw size to fit my Nikon D90. I am turning top disk counter clock wise per instructions but things aren't moving. I see on amazon there should be an Allen wrench in box, i didn't get one, is this needed to turn disk and change screw orientation?

A: Yes you need the Allen Wrench to unscrew the screws holding the base to the monopod first. Once you unscrew them turn it over(flip the sides) which has reverse screw size suitable for your camera. Then re-screw the base to the monopod. If the wrench was lost you will have to get one from a hardware store.

Q: 9. HELLO 3 leg locking base for monopods (B&H BEVT2) is compatible with OBEN ACM 1400?

A: Sorry, no. There is only a rubber foot on the bottom of the ACM 1400. There is no method of attaching the base.
